Our property is family-owned and operated. It has a rich history dating back to the Civil War. The main grounds include a historic barn with plenty of room for indoor/outdoor gatherings, a large wooden gazebo in the farmhouse yard, and a beautiful, scenic pond. You will be surrounded by cultivated farmlands, worked by local farmers. Neighboring homes are 1/2 mile away, so you will truly be immersed in the serenity of the country. Our skies are perfect for star-gazing on a clear night. This property has been used for elegant engagement parties, gorgeous wedding celebrations, stunning receptions, rejuvenating retreats, and fun corporate gatherings. We include tables and chairs for up to 250 people in the standard rental rate. You may use these items or choose to incorporate a unique style to your event with rentals. The red bank barn can comfortably accommodate up to 115 guests, a dance floor, DJ, and buffet indoors. As of spring of 2023, we have added multiple unique Airbnbs on the property for overnight guests including a historic Summer House, a Geo-dome, a Tiny Home, and a repurposed outbuilding that was once used for livestock and is now dubbed “The Boar’s Den.” To date, and with rapid increase, we have hosted over 200 stays and are listed in the top 10% of eligible listings based on ratings, reviews, and reliability. The closest international airport is in Harrisburg, which is 45 miles away (about an hour drive). Amtrak train stations are located in Harrisburg and Lewistown, approximately one hour away for either location. In addition to our basic rental rate, we also have custom service rates that include on-site planning for all your event needs.
