Our 8k square foot home was carefully designed by the late architect, Henry Griffin. Henry was known for creating unique, custom homes, and for designing one-of-a kind residences, commercial buildings, and remodels. Henry Griffin grew up in Cuba and was used to having a staff. Constructed in 1979, Henry Griffin designed this home to allow for large gatherings, intimate evenings, outdoor sports, gardening and entertaining by the pool. Whether sunny, cloudy, or rainy, our home is filled with abundant lighting from custom floor to ceiling windows. Higher-end finishes like Italian marble flooring, Murano Italian glass crystal sconces and chandeliers. We have 2 guest rooms in the main house, each has its own private full bath. Back inside main home, there’s a covered driveway entrance with Italian marble flooring and 12 foot double doors for front entrance. High ceilings throughout with the highest ceilings being in the Library with Brunswick 9 foot billiards table and in the formal Living Room. Downstairs has the theatre, gym, wine cellar, laundry room, and pool pump room. The master suite is a large retreat with its own kitchenette and sitting area. The master bedroom area has 5 French doors leading outside to a large deck, has his/hers bathrooms, including a separate dressing room with lighted floor to ceiling mirrors, large sunken jacuzzi bathtub, bidet and sauna habitat. Heated greenhouse with vaulted ceilings and artists space. 120’x60’ fenced in sports court, pond, 20k gallon pool, and outdoor fireplace. Family room floor to ceiling glass slider nests inside the wall when open, transitions indoor to outdoor space beautifully. Acre sized pond waterfall (fountain coming soon!), and over 20 beautiful flower and specimen plant gardens. Fruit tree orchard including cherries, plums, apples and pears. Restored bright red 1967 Camaro available in the garage to accompany photography or filming.
