Layout & Use Spanning two thoughtfully designed levels, the space offers multiple areas for different activities: Main Level: A warm and inviting kitchen with a spacious island, top-tier appliances, and open shelving, ideal for food photography, cooking demonstrations, or intimate dining experiences. Adjacent is a charming dining area with antique furnishings and a cozy hearth, adding to the lodge’s character. The living area features deep green walls, plaid textiles, curated artwork, and a brick fireplace—perfect for relaxed meetings, fireside chats, or lifestyle shoots. Upper Level: A light-filled, open-concept studio-style space with a Scandinavian-meets-vintage aesthetic. Large windows offer beautiful natural light, making it an ideal backdrop for interviews, editorial shoots, or creative work. The space includes a lounge area, worktable,, and a tucked-away media zone, providing versatility for a variety of setups. The space The space is the upper unit of a charming duplex. While the home has been thoughtfully renovated, the bathroom retains its vintage character, adding to the home’s unique charm. As with any older home, you may notice some quirks, but they only enhance the space’s personality and history. We encourage guests to embrace its character while enjoying the modern comforts we've provided. Home is at the end of a private street with direct access to Lake Minnewashta Regional Park which hosts trails, swimming, park, and more. 5 minute drive to nearest stores & downtown Excelsior which hosts restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and access to Lake Minnetonka. Guest access Unfinished spaces are off-limits to guests. (I.e. a small bathroom & closet on the main floor, and a small bathroom and utility room in the upper level). In addition to one bedroom on the main level used for owner storage, this room does have an alarm in place for safety purposes. Please note this is a traditional home, we share this space when we are not at the property so there are personal items on site. Other things to note This home offers 3 bedrooms (two with king beds and one with a twin bed, there is an additional king bed located in the loft area of the upper level - and a single full bathroom. A large movie theater type setting in the attic for great gathered movies, and a gourmet kitchen for grand meals. The yard is spacious and hosts a large deck with seating and gas fireplace, great for watching a sunset or to drink a morning cup of coffee. Loads of wildlife surrounds this home with sightings of deer, turkey, coyotes, and more. Please note: The home contains design elements and furnishings that may not be well suited for young children, such as sharp corners, breakable décor, and non-anchored furniture. Guests are responsible for supervising children at all times and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur during their stay. Property is animal/pet free, smoke free, fragrance free, and pesticide free.
