The CineVita is the world’s largest and newest Spiegeltent; a unique mobile venue clad in hand carved wood with over 3,000 hand beveled mirrors. Spiegel is the Dutch word for mirror. Coming from the more than century old Belgian tradition of mobile dance halls, The CineVita is the product of the 4th generation Spiegeltent makers, the Rik Klessens family of Malle, Belgium. With a reconfigurable stage, ample lobby and back of house spaces, this venue can seat up to 750 people in a variety of seating and stage configurations. Fully outfitted with state of the art lighting and sound packages, The CineVita is the perfect venue for your next event. Measuring approximately 60’ x 40’, CineVita’s grand lobby is adorned with hand-carved mirrors and decorative wood panels. Anchored by grand staircase and 32’ of bars, the lobby can be rented for smaller events as a standalone space or as part of a whole venue rental. CineVita’s showroom measures 100’ in diameter with no seat more than 45’ from the stages. The performance areas within the showroom include a reconfigurable bandstand, runway, center stage, and satellite stage on the grand staircase. The showroom is outfitted with comprehensive and state-of-the-art lighting and sound packages. In addition to the VIP booths & balcony seats, CineVita’s standard seating configuration consists of 322 floor seats distributed among 58 cabaret tables. There are 26 VIP booths on the outer ring of the main level with room for 6 patrons each. The balcony seats 194 on 2 rows of fixed bench seating. Client specific seating arrangements are possible to increase capacity or make patron seating more intimate. Maximum seated capacity is possible in an all rows configuration. The all rows configuration requires the rental of additional chairs to supplement CineVita’s stock of 375 custom bentwood chairs available to rental clients. Row seats must be bound together for fire code compliance. The rental client incurs labor and potential materials cost for any seating configuration other than the standard seating configuration shown here. CineVita’s bandstand is modular and can be reconfigured in several ways to meet client needs. The blue risers on the bandstand can be removed to create a flat floor or combined to create several different looks including removing the center risers to create an upstage entrance. The runway between the main stage and the center stage can also be removed to create two distinct performing areas. Reconfiguring the stage requires advance notice, mutual agreement with CineVita’s production team, and will incur additional labor costs. CineVita’s exclusive catering partner is DLS Events. Together this partnership has created unique menus including everything from elevated movie concessions and themed cocktails, to full dinner service at our VIP booths and Premier Tables. DLS Events is a multi-faceted food & beverage services company based in Los Angeles with a national presence encompassing catering and concessions for private events, concert venues and music festivals. HOUSE MANAGEMENT & USHERS To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for your guests at the CineVita, our dedicated Front of House staff, comprised of experienced House Managers and Ushers, will be provided for all public events. Their presence is essential for guiding attendees, managing logistics, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. For events with up to 350 attendees and the balcony closed, 2 House Managers and 8 Ushers are required. For events exceeding 350 attendees, 2 House Managers and 14 Ushers are needed to maintain optimal service. We will work with you to determine the appropriate staffing levels for your event, and the associated costs will be included in your projections. SECURITY All client events that are open to the public are required to engage at least 3 event security officers from 1 hour prior to house open to 30 minutes past the last patron to leave. CineVita’s security vendor is JRM Security and will arrange for coverage for the event at cost to the client. CUSTOM MARQUEE LETTERING Announce the arrival of your event in classic Hollywood style. At the end of the CineVita’s grand red carpet approach is a bold and beautiful marquee with striking white letters against a black background. This lettering can be custom built to feature the title of your event or a message to set the tone. RESTROOMS FRONT OF HOUSE The CineVita’s public-facing bathrooms are located in 4 custom shipping containers accessible from the lobby. There are 2 women’s restrooms with 6 stalls and 3 sinks each, an all-genders restroom with 6 stalls and 3 sinks each, and a men’s restroom with 5 urinals, 3 toilet stalls, and 2 sinks. Each restroom container is climate controlled individually and stocked with soap and standard paper goods. CineVita’s backstage bathrooms are located in an executive bathroom trailer from backstage. The women’s restroom includes 4 stalls, 2 sinks, and a private changing room. The men’s restroom has 2 urinals, 2 stalls, and 2 sinks. Both are stocked with soap and standard paper goods. BACKSTAGE AND DRESSING ROOMS Upstage of the bandstand is a 40’ x 40’ backstage area that includes 3 dressing rooms, modest green room, and wardrobe work-room. The amount of square footage backstage is variable depending on the stage configuration and other productions occupying the space. There are 2 dressing rooms with chairs, mirrors, and table space for up to 9 stations in each. The dressing rooms are defined by pipe and drape with 100% opaque soft goods. They are not sound isolated. There are speakers in each dressing room broadcasting show feed and paging. There is a smaller 6 person dressing room area with instrumental lockers available as well. This dressing room could serve as a private room for star talent. CineVita does not have a traditional green room. There is space to congregate backstage along with a potable water dispenser with hot and cold water, microwave, and a refrigerator. This area is acoustically open to the show room. PRODUCTION CineVita has robust and flexible repertory lighting and sound systems that are adaptable to nearly any production need. For any rental that includes the showroom, the client must hire at minimum CineVita’s lighting and sound department heads and additional crew. Larger rental events that require modifying the stage configuration or adding lighting, sound, or video equipment will incur additional labor needs and costs. A cost estimate will be provided to the client as part of the contracting process. LIGHTING CineVita maintains an immovable rep plot made up of Elation Satura Profiles, Chauvet R2 Spots, Chauvet R1 Washes, Robe Spiders, Astera Luna Bulbs, Custom RGBW Windows and Mega Lite Deco Scoops. For atmosphere, the use of in house Radiance Hazers, ZR 44 Smokers and Cloud Nine Low Smokers are allowed. SFX CineVita strictly prohibits the use of confetti, paper snow, glitter, confetti cannons, and stage blood. SOUND CineVita’s sound system is designed and provided by NOMAD Sound of Austin, TX. The system is designed as a center cluster hanging off the center truss. The central PA is a permanent installation and cannot be moved or modified. Elements for body pack mics and monitors are to be supplied by the rental client. CineVita can facilitate the rental of additional sound equipment.
