At High Desert Protocol, we take pride in maintaining a clean, well-cared-for environment—both out of respect for our guests and the land itself. Between every booking, our team conducts a thorough, top-to-bottom cleaning of all interior spaces and high-touch surfaces. This includes: Disinfecting kitchens, bathrooms, and all shared amenities Changing and laundering all bedding, linens, and towels Sweeping, mopping, and dusting all indoor spaces Deep cleaning of hot tubs and outdoor kitchen areas Outdoor spaces are raked, wiped down, and refreshed with care to preserve the natural desert landscape while ensuring a welcoming environment for your guests or crew. For productions and large events, we offer add-on cleaning services to assist with setup, breakdown, and waste removal. Please inquire if you need support beyond standard turnover. Our goal is to provide a space that feels both creatively inspiring and genuinely clean—so you can focus on your work, your event, or your retreat. A Note on Nature This is the high desert. It’s beautiful, raw, and alive—and with that comes a bit of grit. While we take great care to clean and prepare each space, please understand that dust drifts, sand settles, and the occasional bug might make an appearance. This is part of the rhythm of desert living, and we ask that all guests arrive with a spirit of openness and adaptability. If you’re someone who needs a perfectly sealed, sterile environment, this might not be the right space for you. But if you’re up for a little wildness—with sweeping views, golden light, and star-studded nights—then welcome.
