Big Delicious Planet is a hidden gem in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood, combining a chic industrial event space with a vibrant, sustainably maintained urban farm. Located on three city lots next to our certified green catering kitchen, this one-of-a-kind venue has hosted everything from intimate weddings and stylish dinner parties to branded photo shoots and corporate retreats. Originally a factory building, the space was transformed in 2010 into the headquarters of our award-winning catering company. In 2012, we broke ground on the urban farm, which now features 80 raised beds, five beehives, fruit trees, edible flowers, and seasonal produce—right in the heart of the city. Nestled between artist lofts, independent shops, and local cafés, our venue offers a creative, urban oasis that feels worlds away from downtown but is just minutes from the Loop. The space features a flexible layout with both indoor or outdoor areas available for use. The indoor space includes large windows, natural light, high ceilings.
