This rug shop has been in operation since 2020. There's a front room, a long hallway that leads to the back rug room, and two smaller rooms off of the hallway, one of which is an office, the other is a storage room for rugs. The main spaces for gathering are the front room and the back room. For furniture, we have 2 butterfly chairs, a bench, and 6-10 poufs on hand at any given point in time. All of these can be moved easily to fit your needs. If you’d like to put rugs on the floor in the backroom and have folks sit on the rugs with pillows and poufs, we ask that folks take their shoes off at the door. We can help set this up for you in advance of your event. If there’s only one rug on the floor in the back room, no need to remove shoes. If this is the case we can work with you to select a rug that is suitable for your needs. There are two main switches that control all the lights in the shop. They’re mostly daylight bulbs, with a couple of spot lights in the back rug room. If you’d like to create a low-light ambience feel, we have a set of rechargeable tea-lights that can be used and spread throughout the space. There’s a lot of natural light that comes through the front window, especially in the afternoon with the setting sun. The back rug room receives very little natural light. We're located in the business district of Eagle Rock, with plenty of good restaurants, coffeeshops, and boutiques within walking distance. There’s a bathroom on site, industrial sink, microwave, electric tea kettle.
