When the space is not reserved for emerging artist programming we like to provide opportunities for local artists, makers and community members to share our space. Footlight presents is a queer woman owned community supported arts organization founded in 2016 in the heart of Ridgewood, Queens. We currently operate a venue space out of the back room of the Windjammer on Grandview. We have extra tables and chairs, a projector and screen*, bathroom on the premises. The room is ideal for meetings, forum discussions, community gatherings, rehearsals, and classes. *The venue space is fully outfitted for live performance but use of the venue equipment is subject to the availability of staff to run the room. We're primarily interested in lending the space for use and not necessarily the gear. More information will be shared upon rental inquiry. Bookings are sliding scale based on need.
