Nestled within a century-old pecan grove, our beautifully restored historical house offers an enchanting blend of tranquility and accessibility, just 3 miles from the vibrant heart of downtown Austin. Immerse yourself in the artistic spirit of East Austin, with renowned wineries, art galleries, and fine dining all within walking distance. Just through the gate, hidden in the back of the lot youll find the main house which has two wings. In the yard there is a small cottage and a camper. This wing is the left side of the main house. You You will enter through the front door which has a shared front porch. Inside you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen that is ready to cook in. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds, tvs and plenty of natural lighting. The front bedroom has a KING bed, large windows and access to a balcony which overlooks the yard. The smaller bedroom has a queen size bed, a desk and laundry. The grounds are home to neighborhood cats and our dogs: Norman, Tim and Gary. This isn't a place for someone with animal allergies. We spent the last 10 years gutting, restoring and decorating this once dilapidated home. Your hosts, who live on the property, are a mother/daughter design team who love turning trash into treasure.
