Tucked beside The Auction Hall on the first floor, The Whisky Room is a bright and intimate space bathed in natural daylight, thanks to its skylight and large window. Perfect for one-to-one conversations, client consultations, or focused team meetings, it seats up to four and includes an HD TV with ClickShare, video conferencing tools, and high-speed WiFi. During your session, The Auction Hall is open for relaxed breakout moments — with artisan coffee from our bean-to-cup machine, luxury teas, and complimentary snacks available throughout the day. Designed for focus and flow, The Whisky Room combines refined simplicity with the comfort and convenience of a high-performing workspace. The space forms part of The Auction Rooms by MOTA — a premium, design-led workspace in Edinburgh’s New Town. Thoughtfully restored in collaboration with award-winning designers, The Auction Rooms was named a finalist in the 2025 Scottish Design Awards, recognised for its excellence in workspace design and the architectural reinvention of a historic building.

The Auction Rooms are thoroughly cleaned each day by our senior cleaner, who ensures all spaces are maintained to a high standard. Between bookings, our concierge team checks and resets each meeting room to ensure it remains clean, tidy, and ready for use.
