Our 750 square foot photography studio is located in downtown Sandy Hook. In a beautiful, well kept old brick building, the studio is South West facing, has 9+ feet ceilings and is surrounded by tall wide windows along two sides. There is a backroom with a privacy curtain for changing outfits and storing gear out of sight. The studio offers a warm hardwood floor look, as well as a white floor mat section. We offer 3 backdrop variety colors from the backdrop setup - white, black, and a third color that changes. We also offer textured backdrops in pink, brown, and blue that can be setup. We have a C stand, backdrop stand, strobe light, ring light and sand bags available at the studio. White curtains can close to diffuse some light. We have a leather couch, a white couch, a natural wood table with chairs, a small white table with chairs, a sage green chair, and many stool options. As well as step ladders, extension cords, fake plants and props. There is free parking onsite, bathrooms on the same floor as the studio down the hall, and a small kitchen with a sink on the floor as well. The building has stairs and elevator access and a ramp to enter. There is a waterfall that runs next to the building that is beautiful. It is a commercial building with other businesses below, next to, and above, all guest must be courteous of others in the building and mindful of noise level. Close by in Sandy Hook are shops, restaurants, a small park and pavilion area, and bridge that are all lovely outdoor locations of photos as well. The studio is $125 per hour to rent with a 2 hour minimum. For productions and rentals between 6-8 hours we can offer a flat day rate of $675. We offer seasonal setups in addition to the regular backdrops and furniture available. From 1/1 - 2/15 we have a valentines theme backdrop.
