General Preparation • Open all windows and doors for ventilation. • Gather supplies: eco-friendly cleaners, mop, broom, vacuum, disinfectant spray, microfiber cloths, trash bags. • Put on gloves and check that all cleaning products are safe for surfaces. ⸻ 2. Entrance & Common Areas • Sweep/vacuum floors, then mop. • Wipe down all surfaces, including tables, shelves, and counters. • Disinfect high-touch points: doorknobs, light switches, remote controls. • Check for and remove any event décor, trash, or personal items left behind. ⸻ 3. Kitchenette / Food Areas • Wash and sanitize counters, sink, and appliances. • Empty and clean refrigerator, if used. • Wipe down cabinets and handles. • Sweep and mop floors. ⸻ 4. Bathrooms • Clean and disinfect sink, toilet, shower, and mirrors. • Refill supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels). • Empty trash bins and replace liners. • Mop floors with disinfectant. ⸻ 5. Bedrooms / Guest Areas • Strip and launder all linens, bedding, and towels. • Wipe down furniture and surfaces. • Vacuum carpets and rugs; mop hardwood or tile floors. • Check closets and drawers for left items. ⸻ 6. Outdoor Spaces • Sweep patios, balconies, and pathways. • Wipe down outdoor furniture. • Collect and dispose of any trash. • Check lighting and report any maintenance issues. ⸻ 7. Final Checks • Ensure property is odor-free and fresh. • Confirm all lights, AC/heating, and appliances are turned off. • Lock doors, windows, and gates. • Take photos for record-keeping after each cleaning session.
