The Annex is a boutique, one-room, meeting and pop-up space located in the historic Walkerville neighbourhood, known for its heritage architecture, tree-lined streets, and vibrant mix of cafes, restaurants and local shops. Guests can enjoy the charm of the area before or after their booking, making it a perfect destination for both work and community connection. The space itself is designed for flexibility, making it well-suited to private meetings, creative workshops, strategy sessions, content creation, photography sessions, small community events, and short-term pop-up retail experiences. Layout options include boardroom-style meetings, casual lounge seating, or open floor setups for workshops and activations. The space is equipped with comfortable seating, high-speed WiFi, a large presentation TV monitor, whiteboards, and a small kitchenette where coffee and tea are complimentary and cold beverages are available for purchase. Large windows bring in natural light, while warm finishes and minimalist design create a professional yet inviting atmosphere that encourages focus and creativity. Outside food and drink are welcomed (note: alcohol sales require proper permitting). We offer competitive hourly and daily rental rates, as well as membership options (up to 10 or 20 hours/month) with the option to add mailbox services. Non-profits and community organizations may inquire about special rates. The name of the space reflects both its purpose and its history. By definition, an annex is a smaller space connected to something larger—an idea that aligns with our vision of offering an intimate extension for meetings, workshops, and pop-ups. The name also honors Walkerville’s unique past: originally established as a company town, Walkerville was formally annexed into the City of Windsor in 1936.
