This is your invitation to our Cape May haven, an 1850s home nestled in nature and down the street from the ocean. It is your inspired studio designed to spark creativity, calm and connection. We love our home so much we want to share it with you! Open the front door and you are welcomed with pure white walls, original pumpkin pine floors and cozy natural light that graces every room on all three levels. From the west-facing front porch, you’ll catch colorful sunsets and a view of a delightful neighboring pond — a little sanctuary of ornithological wonder with Canada geese, Blue Herons and many more migrating birds… and every so often a playful otter or two. Set on a peaceful 1.13 wooded acres, golden sunlight filters through the historic cedars, black cherries, and hackberries reflecting a glow that is full of quiet magic. There are several intimate nooks of outdoor seating, one we named the “Outhouse Cafe” as it was an original double outhouse converted into a gathering space with a fire pit plus there are several other chimeneas throughout the yard to illuminate inspiring stories. This is a storybook setting that feels authentic, warm, and fresh — your blank canvas to create and celebrate. Our farmette is professionally cleaned before and after every booking. Host will: Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space. Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances. Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable. Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
