A Note Following a Recent Review - We strive to give every guest a smooth studio experience and have made an update following recent feedback. For context, the booking organiser who posted the review was not personally on-site that day; we worked directly with the team present to address their concerns. iPad lighting control is no longer offered. Nanlite’s app design, development and connectivity are outside our control, and we cannot guarantee its connection to the lights. Please adjust all lighting manually using the controls on each fixture. The review also mentioned unexpected construction noise from above the studio. As soon as we were notified, we spoke with building management and had the noise stopped right away. We also provided extra studio time at no charge to help make up for the disruption. While we cannot control all building activity, we act promptly when an issue is brought to our attention. Every production has different lighting requirements, so please allow time within your booking to adjust the lights to suit your shoot. A ladder is available for accessing the overhead lights. - This is a fully equipped filming and production studio in Midtown Manhattan, designed for interviews, branded content, editorial shoots, remote recordings, podcasts, and small-to-medium productions. Your booking includes the furniture and set pieces located inside Studio One at the start of your booking. Furniture, props, set pieces, or equipment from Studio Two, Studio Three, or any other studio or production area are NOT included with this booking and may not be removed or brought into Studio One. If you would like access to furniture, sets, or production space throughout the facility, please book our separate Entire Studio listing. The Entire Studio booking provides access to all three studios and the furniture and set pieces available throughout the facility. Or add what's available as add-ons. The studio is ready for production when you arrive, while still giving you the flexibility to rearrange the furniture, lighting, and backgrounds included within Studio One for your shoot. STUDIO ONE This listing is for Studio One, our largest individual studio. The full usable area measures approximately 34 ft × 20 ft (680 sq ft). The central rug/set area measures 12 ft × 18 ft (216 sq ft) and sits directly beneath the overhead lighting grid. The layout is open and adaptable. Furniture within Studio One can be rearranged, and four desks are available that can easily be wheeled out of the studio if additional shooting space is required. Different curtain options are available and can be positioned throughout the room, allowing backgrounds and camera angles to maintain a consistent color and visual look. Lighting conditions can be fully controlled. INCLUDED LIGHTING & GRIP The overhead lighting grid and the following equipment are included with your booking: • 4 × Nanlite FS-300B Bi-Color LED Monolights • 4 × Nanlite FS-60B Bi-Color Studio Spotlights • 3 × Godox 33.5” Umbrella Softboxes with Grids • 1 × Godox 19.7” × 51.2” Softbox with Grid • 3 × Nanlite 23.6” Octagonal Softboxes with Grids SOUND & LIGHT CONTROL The studio is acoustically treated with Acoustic America sound panels installed across the ceiling. Blackout curtains and sound blankets are fitted to the windows to assist with both light and sound control. Please note that this is an acoustically treated production studio, not a fully soundproof soundstage. THE FACILITY The overall facility is approximately 2,250 sq ft. This booking provides filming and production access to Studio One only. Shared facility amenities include two bathrooms and a kitchen/coffee area. Access to shared areas does not include access to Studio Two or Studio Three for filming, staging, storage, talent holding, hair and makeup, or removal of furniture, props, set pieces, or equipment. Please refer to the floor plan for the studio layout. If you need additional space for talent holding, hair and makeup, production offices, equipment staging, multiple sets, a larger crew, or access to furniture and set pieces from the other studios, please book our separate Entire Studio listing. ADDITIONAL PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT & CREW We are a working production studio and can also provide cameras, audio, additional lighting, grip equipment, and experienced production crew. ACCESS & STUDIO CARE After booking, you’ll receive detailed studio access information along with our studio rules and guidelines. Please do not enter the other studios or remove furniture, set pieces, props, or equipment from those rooms unless this has been specifically approved in advance. We don’t charge a standard cleaning fee. We simply ask that Studio One is returned to the same condition and layout in which you found it and that the studio rules are followed. If additional cleaning or resetting is required after a booking, the applicable cleaning or reset fees may be charged.
