A convincing, fully-dressed hospital room set for film productions and photo shoots. As an indie filmmaker, I was disappointed with the lack of affordable and convincing hospital room sets available in the Chicagoland area as well as Milwaukee. Cities like LA and New York have tons of options, but not so with the midwest. It's slim pickings on Giggster and Peerspace, so unless you've got major money and resources to rent out Cinespace Studios or can juggle the insurance and logistics of finding a real hospital facility willing to allow production, the options aren't great. It's for this reason I built my own hospital room set at my Dad's house in Zion Illinois where we shot my latest film. Zion is about an hour from both Chicago and Milwaukee, right in between, along Lake Michigan.
