About the space The Humanist Cafe is a modern matcha and espresso bar right on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles. Our big front window floods the room with natural light from morning through afternoon, which makes the space easy to shoot with very little lighting setup. The bar works as a real café set: a La Marzocco espresso machine, matcha tools, glassware, and a clean, minimal backdrop. It suits lifestyle and product shoots, brand content, interviews, food and beverage photography, small pop-ups, and workshops. Availability We're open to the public 9am–3pm daily, so the space is available after 3pm and in the evenings every day of the week. Early-morning bookings before 9am may also be possible, so ask us.
