About the Space
Our warm and bright conference room is located on the top floor of our historic building (adjacent to St. Francis hotel), one block from San Francisco's Union Square. Within walking distance of dozens of The City's hotels, and easily accessible by public transportation, the former library is an ideal meeting place for visiting or local businesses looking for offsite meeting space. Boasting incredible views from an iconic building, you can look out at The City from a comfortable, stately setting. The book-lined walls provide an ideal backdrop for your team's workspace, and the décor transports you to an earlier time while remaining thoroughly modern. The 1200+ Square foot room has been refurbished for our Peerspace clients; New paint, redone floors, lighting, windows, and new state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. Our updates were made to improve appearance and function while complimenting the historic nature of the room. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Space has access to outdoor air ventilation

Our team of 21 people had a great 2 days in the Harry M Smith Conference Room at Union Square. Really valued the flexibility of the space, including the ability to cater, store items overnight, the layout of seating, ability to enter/exit the building easily, etc. Osmin was incredibly helpful and essentially on standby in the event that we had any issues. He was able to update the set up the morning of, was on hand to help me test AV for our hybrid set up, addressed some bathroom issues, etc. On a sunny day, the room has a ton of natural light which was part of the reason we selected this space over other venues. We relied heavily on the wifi including 20+ people working simultaneously and/or having a hybrid meeting with attendees virtual and in person over zoom. The room is also set up well with the screen + in room audio, including microphones. The full sized fridge + microwave were also really helpful in helping us store some items overnight and/or reheat food throughout the day. The water filter was also great.
