This industrial design space is the ideal location for is perfect for film production (stills or video), photo shoots, and commercials. With a storefront window great for cafe and restaurant shots, fully functional kitchen set and bathroom with shower, this place is perfect from smaller productions. Our creative space is in South Park, Downtown LA, located just blocks away from Staples Center, the Fashion District and Gallery Row! Street level access for easy load in/load out at ground level storefront window. Pull down rolling door to fully black out space and controlled lighting, paid LAZ parking lot across the street at 1120 S Olive St with ample parking available. Central AC/ Heat, garment rack, 10 folding chairs, 8' folding tables, large rolling island in kitchen, great sound system, polished concrete floors... Come use our fully functional kitchen that works incredibly as a working set! Perfect for food videos or photos. The fully equipped functioning kitchen includes 4 burner electric stove, oven, blender, juicer and micro-wave, overhead dimmable lighting. Green Room and makeup room - additionally included upon request; Photo studio includes backdrop stand and paper backdrop (additional rental), staircase usage for overhead shooting, ladder, and much more. PLEASE NOTE that the space is suitable for small productions with minimal load in/load out and small crew. We are very flexible and happy to work with you as long as you are transparent with us on what you are bringing in. The studio will be delivered clean and must be used with care. Load in and out is very quick with a our street level access. Productions larger than 20 people may be subject to additional site rep fee. Overtime of 1.5 will be charged beyond 12 Hrs. if applicable. Outside Catering Allowed - all left over catering must be taken with you at end of booking. Renter must clean up everything, and take any excess trash/boxes with them. Note that booking time includes setup and breakdown and cleaning, so make sure you're out by the time you've booked out for, or there will be a charge of 1.5 x the hourly rate for anything over 15 minutes. No use or access of the upstairs, ON the stairs or storage closets is permitted under any circumstances. Breaking this rule will result in a $100 fine. Rental time ends when the last person in your group walks out of the studio. Please keep this in mind when planning your shoot. If you will need extra time to set up or break down, factor this in to your time. The studio is not sound proof, so your rental may be subject to noise/distraction if music/noise is too loud. No ALCOHOLIC beverages or DRUGS allowed inside the studio. A $250 fine will be charged for each incident. No Smoking in the studio. Breaking this rule in any way will result in immediate expulsion and a $250 fine. No pets allowed without prior consent of a Studio representative. The studio has limited rights to use of photos, film, and other media from session or shoot, for the intention of promotional content, when granted in booking form by client, or later in writing.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

My experience booking with Tanya was 10/10. She replies quickly and always provides a solution. I had a million and one questions prior to my event and she was able to provide answers for them all. Tanya was very attentive, anything I needed last minute, she was there. She also recommended some nearby places to cater my event which helped me out so much. I would highly recommend this space to anyone in need of a space that has everything available for you (i.e. tables, chairs, kitchen, projector, extension cords, speaker, etc.). I would definitely book with Tanya again!!

We hosted a birthday party at this venue on 6/22/19. The party was a huge success and everything ran smoothly. The only thing that could have been better was the communication with the hosts. Sometimes it took days before we would receive a response to our emails, which can make someone like myself a little anxious. However, in the end everything we asked for was provided and I would book this venue again. Note- I would encourage you to do your homework regarding parking as there’s a lot of meters and parking lots available but the meters were all taken due to another event being held next door. Therefore, our guests parked across the street at a lot for $10.
