An experiment in the possibilities of loft living, surreality and commercial space, this space contains two unique two life-size dollhouses in an ex-industrial building in up-and-coming Bushwick, Brooklyn. The Love Shack is one main space with several small spaces inside two human-size dollhouses. In this unique 900 sq ft loft conversion almost every piece of furniture you see is an original design or an antique that has been heavily modified and restored. Covid-19 Update and Policy The Love Shack is our home, so our guests’ health and safety is our health and safety too. We are taking the utmost care and precaution to make sure it is a safe place for our guests as much as ourselves. We have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space, having updated and developed cleaning and safety policies to help limit the impact of COVID-19. AIR PURIFICATION • We continuously run 24/7, x2 high capacity Alen Breathesmart HEPA air purification units in the main space and an Airthereal unit in the restroom. We refer to the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement the following: CLEANING We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our space to protect our guests. These include: • Our staff is following the cleaning and hygiene guidance recommended by the CDC • We are thoroughly cleaning our space and all shared surfaces regularly, before and after each booking, with disinfectant. • We use detergent to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, we spray with a disinfectant. • We provide anti-bacterial hand wash in the restroom for our guests. • We provide single use disposable paper towels and a trash can with foot pedal. • We ventilate the space before and after events. HYGENE While our space is in use, we ask guests to please follow these hygiene guidelines: • Wash your hands frequently and properly • Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and use hand sanitizer regularly • Dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues. IF YOU ARE SICK For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. SOCIAL DISTANCING. We encourage guests to maintain social distancing guidelines whenever possible.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
