About the Space
Note: Currently only allowing gatherings that max out at 25-30 people. Huge space (over 2,00 thousand sq.ft) with a massive atrium skylight letting in tons of natural light in the heart of the east village. House has spacious patio garden which is accessed through the kitchen. I bought this house in 1996 - it's my home! -and completely renovated it in 2003. It's surrounded by lush community gardens on three sides so it's truly an oasis in the city. The house is spectacular - striking modern, industrial design, and high ceilings inside; outside a 720 sq. ft. patio garden with a pergola is illuminated with fairy lights at night.The living room has a fireplace and a dining room table that seats 8-10. Kitchen is modern with top of the line appliances and bar seating for 5 as well as banquette seating for an additional 5. There is a BBQ and a fire pit table in the garden as well as a table that seats 6 with an extra 8 chairs. Additional table and chairs can be loaned. House has central air, Wi-fi, a fireplace, as well as speakers throughout including in the backyard which allows you to play music through your phone using the Bluetooth. Local street parking is usually easy to find. Set up and break down need to be included in your booking time. When booking please make sure you allow yourself enough time to get the space ready for your event + time to break down and leave the house in good shape. Early arrivals will be accommodated within a 15 minute window without an additional charge. Late departures will be charged after a 15 minute grace period from the official booking stop. NOT APPROPRIATE FOR LOUD, ROWDY PARTIES OR LOTS OF DANCING. Day rates (rentals over 8 hours) available.

Six burner Wolf stove with all appliances and accessories for cooking and preparing

Wine glasses available. Cups also available but not matching.
Dining table that seats 8-10. Folding plastic tables in basement that can be used. Please bring your own tablecloths.
Bluetooth system. Music also plays in garden if desired.

- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

Where do I begin. Alex was an absolute delight to work with. Her space was perfect for our event & was beyond accommodating. from the initial walk thru to the strike. The outdoor space was perfect, and the location is a dream.

I had the best birthday celebration at this amazing space! The place looks even better in person and had everything we needed for a perfect event. The host was incredibly accommodating. Beautiful space that's indoor and outdoor. Easy to get along with host. Would be nice if there was a sign outside that we could post/update that this is event space -- feels very much like a random apartment entry when you're coming in (which makes sense, because it's an apartment!)
