All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
Situated on the entire top floor of a newly-built boutique building in the heart of South Lake Union and Amazon headquarters, this Penthouse is the envy of Seattle. Wrap around deck and roof deck look toward Lake Union. Although it is an occupied home, it works well for small limited productions and larger multi-day productions. Nearly 1800 square feet (167 meters square) of interior space plus a wrap-around deck, the 2 bedroom, 2 bath Penthouse designed by Graham Baba is a work of art. Completely wrapped in floor to ceiling windows, the light in the space is incredible. Polished concrete floors throughout, white oak cabinetry and built-ins, blackened steel wall accents, exposed steel structure, natural fir ceiling and exquisite bath and kitchen fixtures express a wholly Northwest material palette. WiFi throughout serving WaveG 1GB internet speeds, DirectTV with expansive channel lineup and 4k TV.

Lighting description
The space is mostly floor-to-ceiling windows and there are 5% dark roller shades on all windows for light control. The living room (faces East) light is direct until about 11am and the kitchen side (faces West) is direct between about 3p and 6p. Please note that there are significant reflections at various times of day from surrounding buildings. The master bathroom has a very large window with frosted glass letting in more light than would be expected.

Ambient noise description
The windows are fairly good keeping out most traffic noise, but the area is full of construction and in the heart of a lively day-time office neighborhood. The fresh air ventilator runs 24/7 but can be turned off.

The building has no parking, but you can inquire about use of the retail loading dock. Otherwise, parking permits should be obtained for the corner of Harrison & Westlake. Loading from the alley is not advised.

General Rules
The entire space, including both interior and exterior spaces are smoke/e-smoke free. Given the boutique residential nature of the building, the space must be vacated by 10pm.
Production insurance is required.
RESTRICTIONS:
*No nails, screws, staples, tape or gummed backed materials may be used to attach or affix anything to the furniture, walls, or building.
*No glitter or confetti of any kind is allowed on site.
*No sparklers, Roman candles, or fire producing gags or effects.
*No face painting, hand paints, stains, or other similar activity allowed.
WA State sales tax is included in price.

Furniture and decorations may be moved
Furniture should be photographed in situ and replaced exactly upon load out. There is very little wall decor, but it can be removed.

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Chasten was very responsive and the space was clean and worked well for our team meeting. Only drawback is parking is a major pain and information on nearby recommended lots would have made arriving more streamlined.

An incredible spot for a small team off-site. Our staff of 6 used the space all day, and the location and space itself were perfect for our strategy sessions. Close proximity to coffee shops during breaks, easy lunch delivery, and lots of options within walking distance for dinner. The space itself is very comfortable, and we found access to anything we needed.
