It took approximately a year to get it into gallery shape. At about this time C4, a local children's help group, approached me to do charcoal portraits of some of their charges. The idea was to create the portraits and display them in my new gallery space along with some of the children's own work. The exhibit was a resounding success. 2008 brought a grand alliance of Redmoon theater and myself. It was a lifelong dream come true. This began an eight year saga of designing and building sets and props for the renowned theater group. Projects included complete sets for "An Elephant and a Whale" produced at the Ruth Page Theater, elaborate machines used in the production of "Wooden Toy" a music video by Amon Tobin, and countless items used in other RM productions. In 2010 The School of the Art institute officially designated the gallery a place for student exhibitions. Working directly with the students I have helped them mount 8 different shows in the last seven years. Additionally several theater, dance and music groups have staged performances in the space as it continues to be a desirable and sought after place for a myriad of arts organizations as well as private events. Lastly, I am proud to say I have been a full time working artist in this environment, creating objects of art on a daily basis.
