Our reviews speak for themselves! We are a great venue with a team committed to helping you create the perfect event. Our job is to make you look good! We love parties, fundraisers, film screenings, wedding receptions, corporate off-site and more… We have a PPA license, please let us know if you are planning a ticketed event. Our facility can accommodate up to 180 for a sit-down dinner, play, recital, screening… to 200+ for a stand-up reception. Please note that the posted rental rate is an average, please request a quote for your event. Some weekdays can be lower and most Saturdays higher. We also have special rates for non-profits. Because weddings require special attention to insure a perfect event, wedding planners are encouraged to inquire for wedding rates, which vary depending on day and time of year. See below. Furnishings: We have 220 banquet chairs, six 24” rounds, twenty 48” rounds, six 60” rounds, a buffet table and several 6’ tables and two high-tops. We also have six sections of 12’ pipe with black drape. Food and Beverage: Northshore Catering is our in-house caterer and they are amazing. You are welcome to work with them or bring in your own food. For catering we have a staging kitchen with 3-compartment sink, commercial refrigerator, ice maker, convection oven, microwave and stainless prep table. There is an extra charge for using the kitchen. We require that all beverage be purchased through our full bar. Our prices range from $3 for soft drinks, $6 to 8 for beer, $7 to 9 for spirits and $6 to 9 for wine. We can do a host bar or cash or credit for guests. Sound, Lights, Stage and Tech: The space features a 16’ x 10’ stage with a simple light plot, board and spotlight. We have video projection capabilities and a wide format screen. We also have several wired and wireless microphones and a plug in play sound system. The venue also has wifi. Depending on the extent of your tech needs there may be an extra charge to have our tech person on-site. Location: We are located in Lakeview on Belmont between Sheffield and Racine. We are two blocks west of the Red, Brown and Purple lines. We are also on multiple 24/7 bus routes. A nearby parking lot is available for an extra charge. The venue has two large bathrooms and two private, unisex bathrooms. There is also a dressing room with iron, steamer, washer and dryer. We always have a staff member and, if needed, bartender available for your event. Please be sure to include any set-up, tear down, and load in/out time you and/or your vendors when making your booking. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Not available to be used as a concert venue. No outside beverages allowed, we provide full bar service. Your booking includes one site visit prior to your event; be sure you have identified everyone who will need to see the space before you schedule your pre-event visit. Additional site visits that require we schedule a staff person to open the facility are billed at $50 for the first hour and $20 for each additional hour. Be sure everyone involved with your event knows glitter (or decorations made with glitter), confetti, rice, bird seed… are FORBIDDEN to be used in the venue. If any of the above are used in the venue a $350 cleaning fee will be added to your rent. Be sure everyone involved with your event knows that no tape other than painters tape may be used on any surface in the venue. If any damaging tape is used a touch up fee of $250 will be added to your rent.
Everything was great with the venue. I didn’t run into many issues at all, and the ones I did run into were pretty easily resolved. Bill and everyone at the venue were great to me and my guests and although some things went wrong on my end of the event, Bill and his staff were great and completed everything as they said they would.
This was the perfect venue to host our son's graduation party. We had over 100 people and everyone said they loved the space as well. We appreciated the flexibility we were offered with the way the room was set up and bar options. Additionally, the fact that the staff was able to show a slideshow movie that we created made the night extra special. Bill and the other staff were so wonderful and pleasant to deal with. This place is amazing!!!! What an awesome experience! This place was perfect and the staff was amazing!! I was late for my event due to another space closing and the staff and owner kindly helped me and gave me more options then I could expect. My guess were outdone by the hospitality and the beauty of the place. I will forever be a customer of this business and will always refer it to anyone who needs an event place!!!!
Everything was great. Bill was super helpful before the event answering multiple emails I had. During setup Ray was there to answer any question and help and during the event everything went smoothly. Truly there is not one negative thing I could say. The space is amazing, the host is great if I have another party this size (about 150 ppl) I will not hesitate to book the space again.
Wow, this space was absolutely incredible to say the least. Every thing was perfect for my Comedy event, and everyone wanted to know how I snagged a location so professional. Go meeeee. Lol The host Bill, so helpful, cool, and informative. Everyone loved him! From booking and communicating through out the entire process up until the day of my event. I was so grateful to have had Bill as a host. A great bartender as well. Cleanliness 10 stars. Customer service 10 stars. Venue 10 stars (exceeded expectations). Staff 10 stars. Kitchen 10 stars. Bill is great to work with and I would work with him again for future events. Thanks to Bill, the venue looked great and it was ready to go. My wife and guests loved the venue and the location. Several of the guests were inquiring information for possible future events as well.
