Quaint and cozy 500 square feet open air patio, located at the back of my vintage menswear haberdashery on North Avenue, between Rockwell St. & Maplewood St. Situated in the HOT new area of Humboldt Park- the WOW District- you will find ample parking and easy access via the Redline train & Rt. 72 bus, or walk from the Blueline Western train stop. The amazing 606 Bloomingdale Trail runs parallel to North Avenue, 2 blocks north. You will find all you need for your event nearby! Walgreens, a liquor store and a grocery store are mere blocks away. This space would be great for a small dinner party, reception, presentation or photoshoot. Our estimated maximum guest count would be at 30 people. Feel free to stop by and view the space and see if it will meet your needs. Our general hours are from 1-9 p.m. Wed-Sat and 1-7 Sun. This building is non-smoking, however you can smoke in the alley behind the patio. If alcohol is to be sold, you must secure a licensed bartender and provide proof of insurance. You must also make sure that your guests are of legal drinking age, and minors should be prohibited from attending your event. Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. First time hosting a pop up shop for a new jewelry line- with a 3 week notice. First the process for booking was a piece of cake. Decided I needed an assistant 4 days before the event and scheduling that was also a piece of cake. The venue was spectacular! Richard is a gem, easy to work with, flexible and stayed in contact. He set up the courtyard with a Moroccan flair with light jazz in the background. Clean champagne flutes were constantly available. The result a smash!! Richard- wonderful, Andrea Ward, the fantastic assistant was like a member of the team. I couldn't have asked for more!!

Wow, we had the best party on Richard's patio! Richard was an absolute delight to work with. He was super responsive and made the stress of throwing a party non-existent. If you are contemplating having an event here, stop thinking about it and book it! You will not regret it! Also, my boyfriend can't wait to go back to shop; just an added bonus!

This listing is the best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The patio is located in the heart of Humboldt Park, right on North Ave with an easy access and plenty of free street parking. The space is behind a vintage clothing/decor store which gives the venue a very cool speak-easy kind of atmosphere. There are unlimited possibilities for this spot due to its character and the owner's great imagination. We had a black-white party and everything looked great with a little effort from our side. And the price is just unbeatable! The owner, Richard was an amazing host and provided an excellent service. He set up the place and nicely decorated everything based on our needs. He was super flexible and very helpful, a real pleasure to work with. We couldn't recommend this place more! Hope to be back soon!

Richard's space and service delivered beyond expectations. We hosted a wedding ceremony and reception for approx 30 people and it couldn't have turned out better. His decor was on point and set up my taquerio in the perfect spot. He ensured to greet my guests with a smile with added to the good vibes all around that night. I had original booked 4 hours and ended up extending for another 1.5 hrs as my guests were having a blast. I highly recommend his space!

How do I begin to describe how wonderful this event at Richard's was? My partner and I first visited Richard's Fabulous Finds in search of wedding attire. While he was trying on vintage suits, I was invited to check out the patio in back and help my self to a cupcake left over from an event the night before. It was like being transported to another magical realm, and I knew immediately I had found the place to host our family brunch for the morning after our wedding! Our family was so impressed by the unique event space, and totally charmed by the experience of walking through Richard's shop and out onto a patio he decorated just for us. "Decorated" is an understatement, he totally designed the space- complete with vintage serving platters for our pastry and glass flutes for the mimosa bar. He even suggested the perfect local coffee roaster for us to pick up coffee from the morning of! Did I mention he had a table decoration with our framed names in it? Did I mention the giant bouquet of live flowers he provided? Did I mention the perfect bossa nova soundtrack? In all ways, Richard went above and beyond to make our event special. He put so much care into hosting us, and everyone noticed. I need to share one last story. When my husband and I first arrived at the shop the morning of the event, Richard asked me to let him know when toasts we're going to happen. In the midst of everything, I totally forgot to say something when my dad raised a glass and began to speak. But then, out of nowhere, bubbles began to float through the air. Richard had set up a bubble machine high above our heads on the stairs above, and brought everything to the next level of magic! It was so special and thoughtful of him! Seriously, stop looking. You've found the perfect place and the best host. I could not possibly recommend this space more.

Richard and his space were simply AMAZING. One of the best venues I've ever spoken in. Highly recommend this place, and if you get to shop in Richards store, you're in for a rare treat.
