Our modular 1700 square foot space has all the tech trimmings needed to present, discuss and/or brainstorm in clean industrial comfort without distractions. We are very convenient to all of Chicago, with free street parking. Benefits for Off-Site business retreats / meetings. We have a 1080p 7,000 lumen laser projector available to rent. Audiophile ceiling speakers are installed throughout the 1,500 square foot main space. The complimentary sound system includes 7 wireless microphones and a mini plug adapter for playing audio from your device. A 600 sq foot coach house provides an extra bathroom and small kitchenette aids break out sessions, vending tables, or as a "green room" for presenters and event support. For multi-day rentals, this bonus space is included at no charge. Our full kitchen has served many dinners, and can easily handle the catering requirements of most events. Coffee service for up to 50 people can be added upon request, as well as introductions to some of our favorite local caterers.
When you book the space you agree to all our rules, so read them all! Our rules make it possible to keep sharing our space with the public. After your event, please return the space to the configuration you found it in, broom clean. We can send you pics of the layout. This allows our coworking members to use the space the next day. Anything less than broom clean will incur additional charges at a cleanup rate EQUAL TO THE RENTAL RATE. Our cleaning fee delivers you a clean space to hold your event in and covers vacuuming and mopping floors and wiping down surfaces afterwards. Bag all garbage, tie off and leave in the cans on the patio or haul away with you. We provide two 32 gallon trash cans. Any more garbage than will fit in those 2 cans should leave with you. We have one fantastic residential neighbor living next door. Neighboring property must be left undisturbed, including sidewalk area, gate and front yard. Our outdoor patio and porch works for socializing and smoking, so don't hang out in front of their building. If you bother our neighbor, it hurts our business.
We booked this place to have a party for our 20th anniversary. It could not have been more perfect. Andrew is a very friendly, helpful and accomodating host! Things to like about this space: - There are a LOT of electrical outlets. - There's already hardware, if you wanted to hang stuff from the ceiling. - The existing decor is charming as heck - It has a full kitchen - There's a seriously charming outdoor area with seating - There is ample, free street parking - It's easy to get to - The whole place is wired up for sound (generally has great AV stuff, too) - So many chairs!
This was the Best space I have ever rented for an event! Andrew was especially attentive and extremely responsive when needed. Being this was my first ever fashion show event. Andrew had all the questions answered prior to me booking the space and was very quick at responding to any questions before the date of the event All of my guests were especially pleased with the aesthetics that this venue had to offer. It worked well for my Brand Launch / Fashion show! The space had everything we could ever need. There were plenty of chairs and tables that we used for the event. The bright white box concept worked well with my natural theme. The kitchen space was excellent at accommodating the caterer and she had enough space to fully prepare. The bathroom was lovely. The coach house that was rented upstairs was excellent for hosting my models. Again let me repeat this was the most amazing space rented and Andrew was an exceptional host. If you are sitting there doubting renting the space you definitely have nothing to worry about!
I loved this space & my friends and family did as well. Cute, clean, & exactly the look i was going for. Andrew was great and very accommodating. He even gave us extra time to clean up with no extra fee due to difficulties with expressway being shutdown on the way to set up for the party. I would def rebook again, and you should too! Wonderful space, our wedding reception was beautiful. We had the coach house as well for extra space, but it wasn’t used as the space doesn’t allow for a good flow through the kitchen area. I’d recommend the space, but not with the coach house. As for working with Andy, he was responsive enough that all the major things ran smoothly. The projector broke and he made an effort to find a replacement for our slideshow. There were a few issues during the process and he helped fixed them within an hour or two. We also rented the Airbnb upstairs, and though there were some technical issues that caused us to be locked out several times, it got sorted out. My only recommendation would be getting more detailed instructions of how to work things like the sound, projector, and other reminders about the space. These seemed ad-hoc rather than structured.
