Samantha B. booked a photoshoot for 2 people
I booked the space 5 days before our booking, with enough time to prepare to host us. I asked Bidan a simple question regarding the lighting in the backyard, and didn’t hear a response until the night before. When we arrived, we were surprised to see the host’s husband available to greet us, and then only start cleaning after we were into our booking time. There were children’s toys strewn in the backyard that weren’t moved until after we had arrived, and we had paid an extra fee to use the hot tub which was filled with acorns and debris, and was a tepid temperature so the hot tub was not turned on even though we had explicitly paid for that add-on. We also unfortunately had to move dog poop ourselves from the photoshoot site, along with Bidan’s husband coming out again while we shot with the dog. It made for an uncomfortable experience and we decided not to continue with our other intended ideas because of this and ended the shoot half an hour early. I’ve privately let Bidan know of this matter but was disappointed to hear her short response admitting they must’ve lost track of time to clean between bookings. I don’t usually leave reviews regarding spaces with issues, but I enjoy the Peerspace community and hope this review can help continue to ensure quality bookings for all creatives to utilize.
Cathy D. booked a bridal shower for 15 people
The venue was absolutely beautiful! It was a perfect location to host an intimate bridal shower for 10 guests. It was one of the warmest days of the month while we were there, but the greenery provided a good abundance of shade. The host was a joy to work with :). They were so kind, prompt, and helpful in answering all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this venue for any future events.

Timneisha G. booked a short film shoot for 15 people
Bidan was very sweet to work with. She was a fast communicator and very accommodating. She was also very helpful with giving tips on food places in the neighborhood to feed the cast. Everyone loved the place! There was a minor mishap where gardeners came while we were filming, which caused us to have to stop for about 15 minutes; however, Bidan accommodated us by giving us additional time and having the gardeners leave. I would just be sure to ask her to cancel yard work ahead of time because she may forget, I’m sure she’s busy! Overall, the experience was amazing. Quiet neighborhood. Spacious guesthouse and backyard. Lots of parking!

Janna M. booked a bridal shower for 15 people
Easiest booking made. Photos were very accurate but the space was even better in person. Lots of shade which was a lifesaver when temperatures reached up to the 90s. Pool was a perfect temperature as well to cool off.
Julia Z. booked an event for 30 people
Booked this backyard for my graduation party for 20-30 people. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs, not to mention the spot was beautiful. However, we were interrupted on several instances from the hosts throughout the night. They did not give us our privacy and we caught them watching us through their window on several occasions. My guests and I felt very uncomfortable. Then, at the end of the night, one of my guests car was hit by the host and the host did not seem apologetic whatsoever.
