We are accepting bookings for your special event: * Wedding * Baby Shower * Bridal Shower * Birthday Party * Anniversary Party * Dinner Party * Friendsgiving * Other Private Events The space comfortably seats 20 people for a sit down dinner and up to 60 people for a standing cocktail event. It’s a furnished environment including a full kitchen where your friends can cook up a storm or your caterers can make themselves at home. Chic but homey, and looks great in photographs. The natural light is beautiful and abundant! To keep our space affordable, set up and clean up is up to you. You may move items, we just ask that you please return them to their original place. That being said, you are welcome to use anything in our fully-stocked kitchen (plates, cutlery, glasses, serving platters, pots and pans, cake stands, etc.) - anything that can be washed and put back, you're welcome to! Please note that the decorations in the space (such as the swooping cloth pictured in the photograph) changes in accordance with the season. We'd be happy to provide you with information about the specific decorations during your rental time. We do not provide speakers or a sound system. Renters can bring a portable speaker from home for background music. Loud music is not allowed (i.e. if you want to hire a DJ, we are probably not the venue for you). Renters are expected to be respectful of neighbors and keep reasonable noise levels at all times. St. Lydia's is a small storefront church space that hosts rentals of all kinds. We are a progressive, LGBTQIA-affirming congregation working together to dispel isolation, reconnect neighbors, and subvert the status quo. Proceeds from all rentals are in direct support of St. Lydia's. Thank you! <3

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. I had a farewell event at this beautiful event space which turned out to be a surprise engagement party for me !! Julia was an amazing and accommodating host from the time I contacted her to book the space. She allowed us to visit the space before booking and she answered all questions that I had. The space is absolutely gorgeous!! Would def recommend !!!

Wow! Are the words that come to mind. My guest and my wife loved this space! It was much more than I expected. Bigger in size and so well decorated. Its just a beautiful ambiance. The place had everything I needed for my Dinner celebration. I would rent this space again in a heartbeat.

You’ll love St. Lydia’s! The space is lovely and had everything we needed. We had 30 people for a 50th birthday party and had enough space for an informal potluck dinner. There was enough space to sit down and chat.

The kitchen was well equipped and overall the space was comfortable and cozy - perfect when you want to have a party at home, but you live in a small NYC apartment! Julia and team were helpful and flexible and answered all of our questions!

Having access to a kitchen that had many of the kitchenware items we needed for serving was a huge help as we self-catered our party. It was also great to support an LGBTQIA-affirming organization.
