About Marian Built
Set above the active workshop of renowned Northwest craftsman, Michael Marian, the loft is a beautifully restored event space just a block from the Ballard Bridge on the Lake Washington Ship Canal. Our loft provides over 2,000 sq ft of entertainment space, which includes 12 ft high ceilings, an open chef's kitchen, seated dining for 40, and a large lounge overlooking the workshop. No food & beverage restrictions. Bring in all food & bev yourself or work with our preferred catering teams for private dining options. Full place settings for 50 guests (including dishes, glassware, and flatware) can be rented for $200 per booking. With a full service kitchen and private dining options, our space will make your gathering exceptionally unique. Additional amenities included in your booking: chef’s kitchen appliances, two oversized dining tables, 40 dining chairs, 2 hightop cocktail tables, 60" flat screen TV for presenting, surround stereo system, two private restrooms, and free onsite parking. *Our Event Assistant is only onsite for setup and cleanup, but is on-call remotely throughout your event. Onsite support is available for $45/hour, if needed. *The space is essentially "yours" for the duration of your booking. We kindly ask that you treat our loft like your home. *This is the EVENT listing for our private space. Large kitchen counter area for food prep, buffet and/or bar setup.

DINING TABLES Two (2) oversized dining tables; each is 18.5 ft long by 3 ft wide (approximately 223" x 36") and seats 20 people each (40 total). When pushed together, the "family style" setup is approx 18.5' (223") x 6' (72") and seats about 24 chairs/people. HIGHTOP TABLES Two (2) high top tables that are each 30” square x 43-1/4” high.
Up to 40 Dinner Table seats are available along with 8-10 stools for seating at the kitchen counter.
Two (2) Soft Seating Lounge Chairs along with a Chaise Lounge and L-Shaped Couch are available for seating in the Dining Room area. There is an additional small couch located in the living room near the entry.

- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
- Space has access to outdoor air ventilation

We organized a celebration of life at short notice and they were compassionate, helpful, clear, and caring, enabling us to host an event in a private, beautiful, and well appointed space. The kitchen is well stocked, there's AV, and a dining space if you want to have a sit down meal. Can't speak highly enough about both the space and Marissa and her team.

The space was exactly as pictured, the modern industrial feel worked well for an intimate and party setting. They had so many amenities available perfect for any gathering you could think of. Marissa and her team were so easy to work with, communication was quick and painless. They also had Anita available on site to help us with anything we needed. We had a last minute change of plans the day prior to our event and they went above and beyond to help us, definitely exceeded our expectations with her flexibility and patience!

We really enjoyed holding our event here! We had about fifty people and the space felt intimate, but big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. It’s really unique and aesthetically pleasing. The only slight downsides are that it’s’ a bit tricky to find and although parking is not an issue, it could be a little confusing to guests. With a little signage and communication that was easily solved. Both Marissa, who readily answered all questions ahead of time, and Anita, who was available to help us set up and throughout the event, could not have been more responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this space!

We loved this space! It is so beautiful and worked perfectly for our friends bridal shower. The hosts were great and super responsive. Parking was ample for our guests and no one had issues finding it.
