The space is exactly as pictured and worked well for our group with space to mingle and a large table to gather around. We brought in our own prepared food, so didn't use the appliances. The dishes/silverware/cups worked well for our breakfast buffet. Clean up was easily accomplished within the booked time frame. Parking is first-come, first-served, and all but two parking spaces were full when we arrived at 9:45am on a Tuesday, so most of our group of 25 had to find parking elsewhere.
This venue was an absolutely treasure chest in Ballard! The space was bright, beautiful, sparkling clean and had everything we needed. It was a wonderful experience working with Lanie, she was attentive, trusting and very helpful! I greatly encourage Pacific Northwest events of an intimate size to use this space for their event. The windows looking down into the industrial space below, the colors, textures, and furniture selection was an A++!
The space was unique and lovely. The kitchen was well appointed. We wanted for nothing. Lanie was helpful, gracious, and prompt. The whole experience was easy, and we would love to rent the space again.
Lanie was awesome and responsive and the event space is really interesting. The vintage building has great design and I will definitely consider working with Lanie and this space again!
I've hosted 5 events at Marian Built so far -- love the decor and accessibility! Guests always compliment the space. Lanie is lovely to work with and quick to communicate if you need anything.
