Operating hours - 6:00 AM - 11:30 PM Conveniently located in West Adams' Historic District, we offer 1200SQFT of clean white gallery space. Here are just some of the functions we love to host: • Retail and product launch pop-ups • Gallery exhibitions and installations • Press launches • Live performances • Large conferences and talks • Film screenings • Photo and video production • Weddings (subject to a bespoke quote) • Birthday parties • Outdoor* or indoor events and parties • Consumer activations • Product launches • Culinary demonstrations • Workshops • Corporate outings Our dedicated team is comprised of talented individuals specialized in event production and curatorial services, with varied creative backgrounds ranging from video and film production, street art, photography, and design. We will work with you to determine how much or how little you want to utilize our resources and team of creatives to help you realize the best possible event for you and your guests. * Note that pricing for additional services are not included in Hourly Rate, but can be negotiated and handled directly through Peerspace, separate from your standard rental fee. DURATION All Booking start and end times are inclusive of set up and clean up time. GENERAL No Tobacco, Drugs, or Firearms are permitted within the facility whatsoever. No person may smoke or bring contraband inside the facility, nor may any person enter the building with firearms, even if lawfully permitted. Events may not exceed past 11:00 PM. ALCOHOL Facility does not have a liquor license and has a BYOB (bring your own beer/alcohol) policy. Beer and/or alcohol shall not be served to anyone under the age of twenty one (21). "AS-IS" CONDITION Guest accepts the venue "as is" and shall use facility at their own risk and expense. Guest shall not harm the facility in any way whatsoever by painting, drilling, screwing, creating holes in any surface or fixture, or any other careless or malicious use or activity. SECURITY DEPOSIT A security deposit may be required for events with 100 attendees or more. Deposit will be refunded within (7) days of event completion following post event inspection with Client and Project Manager. CLEANING We ask that all guests please tidy up during take down. A cleaning fee of $250 dollars will be added if the space is not delivered in same clean manner as originally received. For all food and beverage events, 10% professional cleaning fee is collected up front. We reserve the right to collect a cleaning fee which will be determined based on the scope of your event. WALL TOUCH-UP AND REPAIR A minimum fee of $50, plus materials costs, will be charged for any wall touch-up and repairs. Repairs over one hour will be billed at $50/hr. All touch-up and repair work will be performed by management. NOISE Guest acknowledges the facility is located adjacent to a residential community. The guest, its agents, employees, contractors, invitees, or representatives shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or inconvenience anyone outside the facility. Amplified music, microphones, or any other sound device shall not be broadcast outside the facility nor shall amplified sound levels inside the facility exceed a reasonable level. Events with exceeding volumes will be required to reduce sound level. INSURANCE Insurance will be required to cover liability and rental equipment. Please leave studio in the same manner as arrival. VENDORS Preferred catering, valet parking, and security are all available through us if desired, but not required. Any outside vendors will need to provide a COI prior to event dates. PROJECT MANAGER Our venue will require a project manager onsite at all times during event and will be billed to the client at an hourly rate.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

Steve and Eileen are amazing! They are so accommodating and the space is absolutely beautiful! If I were to host an event, I would definitely use this space again. However, I shot my thesis film there and I would not use the space for filming again, as the rest of the START spaces (places in same complex) were not nearly as accommodating as Steve and Eileen. Sound was a massive issue with the coffee shop next door and a podcast was going on in the back space. Both of those situations were poorly communicated to me by their respective representations (NOT Steve and Eileen!). Maybe it would have worked out better if I shot it at night or during a week day, but I still felt misinformed, and because of that, I'm giving 4 stars.

The people at START LA gallery were amazing. They were helpful, nice, and accommodating. The space was clean and looked exactly like the pictures, It was a perfect location! The manager on site was amazing and helped with everything that we needed. Everyone apart of START LA went out of there way to make sure we had the best experience.
