About the Space
Great 2500s.f. fully renovated Work Space available for short term rentals 10 minutes from downtown Brooklyn, just off Atlantic Avenue. Perfect space to build your set, rehearse, and shoot all in one location, with hassle free load in/load out. - Open Space, No Columns - 17' ceilings - 14' Drive in door with direct street access for easy load-in/load out - Light, Airy with 14 skylights and glass garage door (space can be blacked out if necessary) - New level slab floor on grade - New Radiant heat system - New electrical, 200amp 3phase, 110v + 220v - Curb cut/designated street parking space in front of building This is a workspace for fabrication, photo/video shoots, film holding, art events, short term design and build jobs or similar type use. Available on a flexible schedule daily or weekly. Longer term needs (up to 4 weeks) can be discussed. If interested please describe your project and use of the space and potential dates. Depending on your project a COI may be required. Additional fees incurred for shoots involving vehicle in studio, black out or night shoot. (sorry -- no loud music)

- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The space was perfect for my production's needs. Leigh and Simon run a tight ship--very organized, very concise. They understand what a production needs and were both very helpful and unobtrusive throughout our shoot. I would recommend this space for anyone doing small set design or anything with green or blue screen (especially car interiors, which is most of what we did) or industrial-aesthetic photo shoots.

Leigh and Simon studio was perfect for our shoot. They where very good with the communication and accommodating to our needs. They are very clear about what you can and can’t do at their space which is good. The downside is that you have to take your own garbage home (no surprises, they communicated that from the beginning) But after a long day of work asking your crew to take the garbage home felt odd. Great space!

The space was very great to shoot. It was clean and easy to access. It has a cool industrial feel to it and makes for an interesting background for interviews. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. Just be prepared as there is no WiFi.
