Perfect for art exhibitions, launch parties, photo/T.V and commercial shoots, trunk shows, day and night events, we provide the ideal venue for any event or gathering. Java Out-Back provides more and better space for events of all kinds. Located on 259 Kent Street, the large garage entrance and open space can accommodate up to 135 guests while still facilitating a free-flow of movement.

Everything went really well with this space - inviting and friendly atmosphere that was conducive for our meetings. The host was very responsive and there were no issues at all.
The space is very cool. The room was a bit cold but the host was very helpful. Unfortunately, and this is only fault of my own, the space is hard to get to so it wasn't optimal for holding auditions.
The space was a bit tight for 9 people, but still very workable. The concierge service (Amanda) was amazing and it made my life so much easier. Everything worked well and it was easy for all to find. Thanks!!
This is a seriously cool and versatile outdoor space that I, my wife, and the (60) guests of her 30th birthday party loved! The space features two fantastic murals, one of which we used as a back drop for photos. There is also a back alley area where we served food and fashioned a small lounge space. We used the main area for mingling and the bar. A couple of changes were made to the space between booking and the event, but they ended up being major upgrades (one is a new, much more impactful mural, the other is a tent installation from one of their resident architect firms that served as a beautiful cover from the summer sun). I would've liked to know at the time of booking about the potential for these changes, but it all worked out well in the end. Also, I must have misunderstood this, but I learned day-of there is no sound system housed at the venue, so if you book, you should plan to bring your own. They've had other events with live music and can accommodate many different music set-ups. That said, I think they plan to make a bunch of other upgrades, which you should ask about and I'm sure will make this a pretty amazing place to party. Julia was my main contact for the event. She was responsive, thorough, and understanding throughout the planning process. She was also very flexible and accommodating, as was Luca. As the host and planner, I enjoyed running into different members of the Java community while preparing and breaking down our event. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the studio as a whole has a great energy. We definitely want to book again in the future. It's a really unique space and community that we were super glad to get to know this weekend!
