About the Space
This is a corner, classic brownstone with original wood moldings, plaster ceiling details, and inlay wood floors of a goyard pattern. Built in the 1890s, the home is a an original gem with preserved character on the border of Ft Green and Clinton Hill. Parlor floor, spiral staircase, 13-foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows at the front and back, bay window on the side wall, grand tub and an abundance of impeccably preserved original details. The home includes parlor floor with 13 foot ceiling, original marble fireplace facade, double door entry, large archways with molding surround, original furnaces, gorgeous ceilings and lots of light. This listing is for the parlor floor only, additional bedroom / dressing room spaces available at additional rate. If there are any questions about this, please ask. What a beautiful spot! Tray was a great host, efficient at communicating while quickly responding to any questions I had. My production went smooth and the shots turned out better than I thought. I'm really glad I went with this space, and I would definitely book it again if the project fits.

If you are booking this space for a photoshoot be sure to ask for updated photos in advance. The owner of the home is an artist and is constantly changing the decor/furniture. We are a non profit who was really excited to utilize the space for a shoot and were disappointed to receive photos hours before showing that the space no longer looked like the pictures. Tray was a kind host and offered another hour in exchange, but this space does not look like the pictures. The furniture/decor absolutely changes the feel and character of the space. Additionally, make sure to clarify what rooms you'll have access to in advance- we did not have access to all of the rooms that were pictured in the listing.
