About the Space

Overview Newly renovated Brooklyn townhouse with modern design, long clean lines, great natural light and a beautiful garden. Architecturally designed space laid out over two floors of this Brooklyn townhouse. The ground floor space opens up into a 13ft high glass atrium with doors that open completely, leading seamlessly to the enclosed sleek garden. Simple, fresh palette of grey and white provides a clean backdrop for your event, photo or film shoot. Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate parties. * 1300 Square feet * 2 bedroom 2 bath * 8 foot projection wall * Rokit speakers Logistics Guests have access to all areas except bedrooms. The space includes a 8 person dining table and chairs, 1 antique side chair and a 6 person sofa. On-street parking is possible, subject to availability. The F, G and R trains are all within a 5 minute walk of the property.

- There are often free street parking spots on our block or metered parking spots on the main avenues around the corner from our space. - There are also 3 different paid parking lots 3 blocks or less from our space.

Lighting description

*The back of the house has a floor to ceiling glass wall and 13ft glass atrium that lets in a ton of natural light. This glass wall also completely opens to the garden creating a "wall-less" feature for a seamless transition from the living room to the garden. There is good natural light in the back/garden all day but light is best in the back/garden until about 3pm. *There is a single large window with venetian blinds and glass door at the front of space in the entryway/kitchen.

Our street is super quiet with close to no noise from the street/neighbors especially when in the back of the house/garden that has a ton of natural light.

Equipment loading description

* There is "vehicle standing area" direclty across the street from the property and equipment can be initially off-loaded into the front garden from loading vehicles. Full parking on the street is first come first serve. *The main entrance is under the stopp and to enter the property, you must go down two small stairs. Depending on dimensions, oversized items may be challenging to enter due to the layout of the entryway but we haven't had any issues to date.

Kitchen and powder room. Under special circumstances one bedroom might be available.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms unless prior authorization has been provided in writing.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

The circuit breaker is easily accessible in the dining area, if neccesary and outlets are spaced evenly on the wall throughout the entire space.

General Rules

* Min 4 hr booking * No parties * No events after 9pm * No smoking * Guests must provide additional insurance and valid permits for all vendors * All rentals include setup and cleanup time * Furniture can only be moved by the guest upon request * Trash must be taken out at the end of your booking, and placed in the outdoor cans (unless it is Sunday evening, in which case place all trash on curb side, or Wednesday evening, in which case place regular trash only on curb side) * Close all doors, windows and turn off all lights upon exit and place key in lock box by tapping in code, holding down the open button until keys and cover are in place

General Liability Insurance is required.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

*Furniture can be moved around as needed provided it is put back in its original place but it cannot be removed from the property. *Wall decorations can only be removed if explicit authorization is provided in writing.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
