Cons: The host was not responsive days before the booking so I didn't know what the parking situation looked like. When we arrived it was a nightmare because the venue is in the middle of Skid Row and street parking didn't seem safe. I had to pay a good bit of my crew to take Ubers from parking lots 5+ min away. Luckily at the tail end of the shoot we were able to park inside the building which was safer. But then we got locked for about an hour in since the building parking closes at 7p and our shoot ended at 9p, so we had to wait to be let out. Host didn't have production package ready when we arrived so we had to be in the burning sun for 1+ hours. There is no power on this rooftop so if you plan on lighting anything, good luck. We recorded a live band and the generator went out in the middle of the performance, so it was a trip. Bathroom was not COVID friendly. Pros: The view is truly amazing. The host was very kind after they realized they messed up and gave us an extra tent. The host was very kind after they realized the parking situation and let us park inside the building at the tail end of the day at $20/car. I wouldn't do a shoot here with more than 5 or so people since, as a producer, you'll have a lot of people's needs to meet (i.e., bathrooms, electricity, etc.). But if you have a small shoot with a skeletal crew, I would do it if you really need a rooftop!

I booked this location for a music video. View was spectacular! The host Luc and Ethan were very helpful. However there is no bathroom available, if you want to have access must also rent studio downstairs or pay for bathroom use. I paid so my crew would have access all day. Street parking only, unless you pay for 2 parking spots available at the rear of building. This is a 1930’s building, no A/C so building was very hot inside. Lastly elevator was very old but huge, fits lots of equipment in one way up/down. Overall we finished early and filming was a success!!! Thank you all.
