Brainstorming, quarterly's, team building and such, this old school brick and timber has proven to be creatively inspiring space. Four skylights fill it with light and the large wooden plank floors add warmth and charm. Re: Covid safety; The space has high ceilings and plenty of cross ventilation airflow, plus a brand new high capacity air purifier by Alen (Consumer Reports top pick). Neighborhood: Many local lunch and coffee spots within a few blocks including Sightglass Coffee, Farmhouse Thai Kitchen, Flower and Water Pasta Shop, Gus's Market, Atlas Cafe, Tartine Manufactory and Universal Cafe. Parking info and tips: 1. Allowing an extra 10-15 minutes to find a spot usually does the trick. 2. There's a two-spot white zone in front of the restaurant immediately next door that's free and clear until 5 pm so definitely take one of those if available. 3. Half the neighborhood is all-day parking while the other half are 2 hour, with no meters in either case. The 2-hour spots are typically good for 2.5 hrs since the SFMTA usually only passes through twice. 4. The nearest lot is at SF General on Portreo, 22nd, about a 13-minute walk away. 5. The neighborhood is flat so walking a few blocks won't include hills. 6. The 27 Bryant stops right in front, Bryant and 20th street. The Building: Built in ~1917, the entire building was home to a giant web press that printed the cursive writing examples that ran along the top of grade school classroom walls. Then in the 60's it became home to Bindweed Press, who printed many of the iconic 60's & 70's love generation posters for Bill Graham, the Fillmore, etc, including posters for the Grateful Dead among others. One of those presses is now housed in the printing museum in San Jose. About me: I support you, you support me. I'm a photographer artist and thanks to you, via Peerspace, I'm doing the best work of my career. Plus, I really enjoy hosting and I'll do anything in my power to help support your success. The photography on the walls is mine, the animals are real, and the art changes often so you may or may not see what's in the photos. Thanks much and I hope to host you soon! Peter

Peter was a great host and very informative. The space is a little smaller than what the pictures show but we made it work!
Cynthia B. booked a team offsite for 12 people
Peter was GREAT! So accommodating and very very helpful. We had sort of an odd event, in the sense that we were in and out a lot and had a lot of moving pieces, and needed some help at random times. He always was gracious and helpful. Plus his ART is so wonderful! The space is flexible and comfortable, with tons of light and the ability to move around and make the physical space changes we needed for our event. We hope we can work with Peter again in October if he will have us! Thanks Peter!

Peter's space was perfect for our team working offsite. He took extra care getting our tech setup in the morning, and we were delighted to find everything we needed for a collaborative working session - whiteboards, post its, and coffee!

Fantastic host and fantastic space! Peter is responsive, solicitous, and clearly takes pride in creating the best possible space, with lots of thoughtful little touches throughout in addition to all the necessities being present and in well-maintained working order. The location was also great and thanks to the list of suggestions on the space's page, we utilized local options for all of the day's meals. (Highly recommend Tartine Manufactory for breakfast or lunch.) The only thing that could be an issue for someone (though it wasn't for us) is accessibility. The space is on the second floor and while there may well be an elevator, it wasn't immediately apparent so just double-check with Peter. And the bathroom within the space is also up a short flight of stairs, though I believe there were also restrooms available in the hall. But for us, the space absolutely exceeded our expectations even though we didn't get to use the outdoor space due to rain. We'd definitely work with Peter again; highly recommended.
