Located on Ramona Street in the heart of downtown Palo Alto, our 960 sq. ft space would be well suited for a private happy hour event, wine tasting, work gathering or mixer. Kitchen space can be used for pre-prepared outside catering Seating for 30-40 Standing event cocktail and hors d'ouvres fits 49 with outside seating available as well.
Event Manager (our staff) must be added at $25 per hour to be present on site for the duration of the event. No loud music after 10pm No smoking No pets Trash should be placed in the bins and the host will take care of the rest
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

I reserved the space for a small bridal shower (about 12 people). The space was perfect. Located downtown, it was easy to get to. I had food catered in, and was able to bring my own alcohol. The space was flexible to accommodate us going over time. Salvador was great on-site help, and Stephanie was very responsive during planning. Only constructive feedback would be that it was a bit hot (it was a summer afternoon) even with the fans on and doors open. However, that wouldn’t stop me from booking again.

Amazing, magical experience. Love the venue--classic downtown Palo Alto. Salvatore was an excellent host. Welcoming, warm, diligent and like family. Loved the indoor and outdoor space, especially on a hot night. We were having so much fun some passersby stopped in to see if they could partake.

Conveniently located and the perfect size for our 45 people group, this was the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner. I looked up and down Palo Alto for other spots and they were either not as well suited or way over-priced compared to Maxine's. Salvador was great! So helpful before, during and after our event. The pull down screen for showing a video was a great bonus. We brought in our own catering specific to our event and our guests dietary restrictions. Worked perfectly. And the outdoor tables were the place to be on a warm summer night with a glass of rosé. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this cozy and beautiful space and are very happy with the whole experience. We put together a jewelry trunk show and it worked very well. The host was super responsive and supportive. Also, Salvador, the person in charge, was very helpful and nice trying to accommodate our needs. A great option for a small event in downtown Palo Alto!
