About the Space Large Sunny DTLA Renovated Loft Space - Mixed Media Event Space - Tucked away in toe sleep area of South Park, Downtown LA. There is a green screen as well as a private meeting space. We are within walking distance from the LA Convention and Staples center (10 minutes). This is a great location for events, conferences, and private event/dinners. The space can accommodate 150-200 people standing or 100 sitting. The space is located on the 2nd floor of a commercial building. Parking lots are available around the building in addition to a loading dock. A free parking space is also available (read the space rules). PETS: Sorry, pets aren't allowed in the loft unless he/she is a service animal with a valid permit. FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM: Please do not hang or tape or cover fire sprinkler or sprinklers. This is a huge fine from our friends at the LA Fire Department. A minimum fine of $500 per occurrence will be charged for not complying. Just don’t do it! PROPERTY DAMAGES: You are responsible for leaving the space in the same condition as prior to commencement. A walk-through inspection will be conducted before and after all bookings. Damage charges will be negotiated with you and billed via Peerspace.
We rented the space for 60 adults and 7 children for post wedding dinner and dancing. The venue was spacious and had the modern industrial look we were wanting. Michael our host was very helpful and made the experience less stressful because he took care of many of the details. It's a little tricky to find and could use better lighting and handrails in the stairway. Otherwise we were very happy with how things turned out.
Amanda & Michael went above and Beyond to Accommodate my event and everyone involved in putting on the event. It is a very beautiful space and they have everything you could think of on hand to assist you. They are really easy to communicate and flexible with scheduling and coordinating load in and load out. We really enjoyed hosting our first Los Angeles event here. You definitely should book
This space was absolutely delightful! 10/10 would rent again. I will forewarn anyone that upon arrival it can be a bit deceiving from the outside, I had a bit of a "where the hell am I" moment when trying to find the entrance - BUT once you get inside there's a beautiful oasis waiting for you. It was perfect for a group discussion and felt just as spacious and open as it looks on the photos. I sent out a quick/fun photo map to all of my guests guiding them into the building and no one had an issue finding it. Highly recommend for an offsite, panel discussion, workshop space or anything else group-related. Michael who runs the place was also on hand to help me get set-up in the space and super helpful throughout the process. 5 stars!
Navel was exactly what I was looking for to host my baby shower. Michael was able to show the venue at any time I desired and there in the beginning to set up and also help clean up. He answered all my questions and was so nice and accommodating.
We are extremely satisfied with the event at this beautiful space. Michael was very accommodating and professional. Very willing to help set up exactly how we envisioned it. We expected a lot, yet they delivered even higher. We will keep this place in mind for future events for sure.
I absolutely LOVE this space! During the booking process, Amanda was super responsive and easy to communicate with. I visited the space prior to booking (as suggested in the listing) and knew right away it would be PERFECT for our women's event. Upon arrival, the space was freshly cleaned, with sage burning. All of my guest made comments about how good it smelled in the loft. Michael (Venue Manager) and his team had already completed our setup and allowed our vendors to drop off by the time our team arrived. There is a full kitchen and plenty of counter space for a nice display of food and drinks. This space also have speakers for piping in soft music and a microphone for talks. Navel was wonderful! They gave us fairly free reign and all the right guidance and support to make our art event go smoothly and successfully. Some guests (and event crew) had a bit of trouble with parking and finding the place, but the former is a fact of life in LA and we kind of liked the allure of the latter ... Received so many compliments from guests once they saw how gorgeous it was inside and how effectively it funneled all the creative energy!
