Our building's history is ripe with the lore, tradition and curiosity that makes its home in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles a place of intrigue and wonder and a place we have always cherished. Originally built in 1926 as a Prop Design Studio for film and television, the Spanish Colonial style building has an heir of both elegance and comfort daftly mimicking its current owner’s temperament and style. Following that storied use of the building and for the next twenty-five years, the building was a violin factory producing thousands of violins and violas for schools throughout the country. In 1967, some fifty years ago, Costume Designer Rita Riggs purchased the building and made it her studio for her work with everyone from Alfred Hitchcock to Norman Lear and many, many more in between. Rita predated the current interest in Shared Community Office space by offering space to a select group of design professionals that understood her passion and talent for high design and an interest in making a true community out of the workplace. Organically, gracefully and with no pretense, Rita was way ahead of her time. Recently, the building was painstakingly restored to its former glory by 30 year inhabitants of this very special place. They, along with the entire building's membership (including Rita herself), welcome you to share, learn, grow and thrive in a community made up of all generations intent on rising in the pursuit of what promises be a very fulfilled and prosperous family.

This place is great! Tash and Sara was very attentive to my questions and replied quickly. Scott was very helpful on site. Overall great experience, great staff, and love love the space, we'll definitely come back :)
Rennie S. booked an off-site for 4 people
We showed up today and I don't think anyone was expecting us. We walked into an empty house/reception area and had to make a few phone calls Sara and Tash to see how/where we access our booked conference We felt bad as it appeared that someone else was using the conference room and had to be bumped due to our reservation. I think it was just a scheduling oversight. Overall, the conference room is pretty basic with no access to kitchen. It was an even exchange for the reasonable hourly rate.

This is a nice space, and excellent for a meeting of 4-8 people. The host was initially concerned that there would be excessive noise from another large gathering in the building, but it turned out to be minimal and not disruptive at all. Make sure to ask the host for parking instructions since many of the nearby streets are "permit only"...
