Overall good experience. Parking in the area is a little difficult but to be expected in downtown Oakland. The rooms were clean and easily set up for our purposes. There was a mix up with our reservation which gave us less time in the room by about an hour. When we spoke to the staff on hand, they did say they would comp us a reservation in the future for the trouble but they have yet to reach out to me.
Cool space, very helpful hosts who made sure we had what we needed and brought in extra chairs. The kitchen had ample water pitchers and glassware, which was helpful. The bathroom needed some attention and didn't have paper towels.
The space was just as advertised, except for one thing: amazing art all over the place! It was a real bonus that I didn't expect when booking. Also, the staff was incredibly welcoming and authentic. I had expected professionalism but what we got was a degree of warmth that was a breath of fresh air.
