This exceptionally stylish lounge has been freshly redecorated with a "Speakeasy" vibe. Enjoy the lush wall coverings, crystal sconces, espresso built-ins, plush seating, catering kitchen with warmers, refrigerator, sink and wonderful counter space. Located on the second floor, a private entry via stairwell provides a dramatic entrance. We do have an elevator for loading in and guests that prefer that mode of transportation - please note you do have to walk through our community fitness center if you choose to use the elevator. The Speakeasy lounge has: -Bar Seating for 5 -Lounge seating for 8 - Booth seating for 6, flexible -Google TV pre-set stations Maximum capacity: 45 attendees We are a smoke free and pet free space. If you need a private room for a breakout session, we do have a conference room on the first floor with a table and four chairs, as well as a white board. Our space is proudly Smoke-Free and Pet-Free. Depending on your event, we might recommend that you provide a staff member to check in guests at the leasing office of the building as they will be entering a formal lobby on the first floor. Please dispose of garbage after your event, leave the space "broom clean" and check in with the Leasing office on your way out. All bookings are inclusive of set up and break down time. For this very special space, we typically like to have the host of the event meet with our site team to walk through and ensure your needs are met. We booked this for our co Ed couples shower! Everyone had a great time and it fit our great gatsby theme nicely. Everyone kept asking me where I booked this venue they loved it! Thanks to Kristina for providing us with the additional tables and we needed so that we did not have to pay extra. Great venue!
This is a great space. Very comfortable and super stylish. We hosted a casino themed event and had a fantastic time. The host was helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries and questions.
The event space itself was absolutely lovely! My guest loved the ambiance and really enjoyed the Speakeasy Lounge. The place is small and intimate, so I don't recommend using the space for over 30 people. 20-25 would make the most sense in terms of comfortability and seating availability. The host Courtney was beyond rude. Every question I asked felt like a burden. She was very short and curt which was challenging, given I live in NYC and was planning an event in CA. I sent my sister to the venue and Courtney assured her she could drop by between 10-6 pm. When she arrived Courtney didn't personally walk her to the space to show her around, she was standoffish and uninvolved. We are pretty chill people so we brushed it off, but the icing on the cake was when a gentleman from the leasing office called me at 1PM informing me that I had to sign the contract before being able to set up. This is totally understandable, however; I paid for the venue in full back in February and would have signed it much sooner not hours before the party (given I had appointment, errands, and have no car because I was visiting. I had to find a printer and get the contact to the venue by 5:30 and ended up arriving at my party by 7 given the traffic and the delay getting ready. Again the space is absolutely outstanding but the service was a solid 4/10. The attitude was awful which is consistent with the other reviews. Great space, but customer service is everything.
Jamal was very polite and helpful on the day of the event and even directed several attendees to the lounge. Communication was clear and there were no glitches. Would be nice to have parking for attendees and wi-fi for large professional events. Would love to book again!
The space is amazing - feels like your very own club. But it also worked well for our corporate offsite, as the last thing I wanted for my team was a standard meeting room. Courtney and Sindy went out of their way to give info and help our group on the day of our meeting - even delaying their lunch hour to make sure they could be on hand for a door dash delivery. Thanks so much - I'll recommend to my co-workers.
The place is very unique and it looks just like the pictures. We booked it for my sister's Bridal Shower and because of the decor already present, we made it a Great Gatsby themed event. Pros: - Alexa (no need to download a playlist) - Full fridge and freezer - Unique decor / guests will love it - Can hook up a keg Cons: - Pricey (pay hourly so you pay for set-up and break-down times too and it adds up) - If you want to serve liquor (need a bartender service, which is even more cost) - Communication from host isn't great (you have to ping them multiple times on peerspace and personal email and sometimes call) - Wi-Fi wasn't working so additional cost there - Contract has a clause where the venue can cancel your event up to 7 days before your event time (talk about living in fear of my event being cancelled) Thank goodness I read other reviews about there being a contract you need to sign or else that would have left me no set-up time. I reached out to get the contract myself. A little bit of a hassle in working with the venue, but the event was a success, so it all worked out
The place is great but the customer service is horrible. I ask for wifi and she didn't provide it to me .since my party was for after hours i ask for her phone number so in case if i need something , she didn't even provide me her phone number. Worse experience and i would definely not recommending to book this place
I was worried at first about booking this place due to the space for the number of my invited guests but it turned out, space was ample enough. The place is comfortable and very cozy. We ended up bring folding chairs but later on not needing them because of the couches and seats provided in the lounge. Sindy, the host is very helpful. The staff were very polite and accommodating. They even provided us with cider for my baby shower and a printed sign to direct the guests on where to go. The only downside i could think of is that we had to bring our own folding tables for the food. And you have to go on the first floor for the restrooms. But it wasn’t really a big deal because of the close proximity plus the building has an elevator. My husband and I love this place and we are happy on how easy and convenient it was to communicate with the staff. We would DEFINITELY book this place again for future events!!
