Our beautiful meeting spaces are perfect for your next photoshoot or film interview. The unique settings make for a great production location every time. Interested in hosting more than a production? THE SPACE The Lounge is located inside of a residential apartment home community and so we do ask that any event or meeting be appropriate for that space. The 1200 square foot space is great for a laid back meeting with lots of small group brainstorms, or your special event. There is a bar with four stainless steel bar chairs, large slick meeting table with seating for six. A sectional sofa cozies up to build in seating flanking a 55 inch television. Pool table and Scrabble for those good break times. A small four-person conference room is attached if someone needs a quiet space. Our outdoor BBQ grills are perfect for a breath of fresh air. AMENITIES Round table, island, counter space, bar stools, sofa, TV, Wifi, fireplace, pool table, BBQ grills. THE LOCATION The Fillmore District has a LOT of history, and our lounge space embraces the musical history the classic San Francisco neighborhood surrounding our beautiful building. PARKING Onsite parking is not provided and not included in the booking rate. We recommend using public transportation or taxi/ride share services.
This space is proudly smoke free and pet free. We recommend that guests have at least one staff member present to check in your guests, and direct them to the space. The Lounge is located inside a residential apartment home community, so please do know that you may see our wonderful residents around the space. Please be mindful of that when booking your event. Your space reservation time should include time for set up and clean up. If you're unsure how much time you will need, we recommend 1 hour before and 1 hour after your event time. Please return the space in the condition that it was delivered to you, at the time that your reservation ends. Prior to confirming a booking we will have you sign a license agreement and provide Certificate of Insurance for your vendors, Special Event Insurance. We will all adhere to PeerSpace's cancellation policies.
The Lounge was used for our daughter’s 16th Birthday celebration and it was an amazing place. The venue is very spacious, bright, beautifully decorated with lots of room to sit. Pool table was a great edition,as well as the wireless speaker, provided by the Lounge manager,which we connected to our laptop to play music. Tran was a wonderful host, answered all our questions promptly and arranged the tour of the Lounge with Mark, the manager,who was very helpful and who checked us in on the day of the event. He escorted us to the room, showed how to manage all the doors and even let us park in the garage, which was very helpful, as we had a lot of staff to unload.Our phone was linked to the system which allowed us to remotely let people in. From the start to finish, the Lounge went beyond our expectations. We would definitely keep it in mind for any future events, as well as recommend it to others.
We used the lounge for a 16th birthday party. It was the perfect venue. The pool table was the focus of the room and gave teens the chance to socialize instead of being on their phones. There was plenty of seating and televisions to watch sports or music videos. Our concierge Gunter was an absolute gem. We will definitely book this space again for large events.
Tran and Chris were extremely responsive. I communicated with Tran through PeerSpace and she was super helpful in answering all my questions. I met Chris the day-of and he did a great job with the walk-through. The parking situation wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be given the venue is near Fillmore. But I did book for a Sunday. The space was great, it was extremely spacious and nicely decorated. Easily fit 55 people with extra room. Everyone loved the space. The biggest issue was the call box access. The call box was supposed to forward to my cell phone where I could buzz people in. But Chris couldn't get the system to work. So I ended up running suicides from the front door to the venue, basically ferrying people back and forth the whole time. Also, Chris only provided 1 key fob, and there were 3-4 doors between the venue and the front door. It was a huge pain and the reason why I probably wouldn't book again. I did assign a friend to periodically check on the front door, but I ended up checking the front door myself every 10 minutes because I hated the thought of guests being stuck outside.
Funky Lounge was perfect for our event. The staff was more than accommodating and made sure we had all we needed to have a great time. We supplied food and drink for our guests. Despite being in an apartment complex the event felt very private. We were able to stream a live music event on the main television and everyone really enjoyed them selves. I highly recommend this space for business or for pleasure. Very nice.
We loved the venue, but were not thrilled with the staff. I think it was Mark, English accent, saw us come in and then chatted (and I mean chatted) for 15 minutes with two people wanting to lease an apartment. Usually, I would be fine with that but I had 100 people showing up in an hour and had paid a lot of money to show up an hour early to set up. The second time I had to interrupt them to say that I just needed someone to let us in, he did, but he didn't show us how locks worked. Just insisted he gave me a fob (he didn't). At one point, my friend was actually locked in the building while I was locked out of the gate. Luckily, Gunter (I think) helped us when I went back to ask for a TV remote to turn off the TVs. He was very helpful, but at that time everyone was stressed.
Amazing place. Fit all our guest perfectly. Had no problem buzzing people in. There was a 150 cleaning fee so we tried to clean up as best we could. Tran responded to messages quick and Gunther the front desk personnel was super nice. Would love to book this place again.
