About the Space

Our recently renovated 1647 square foot lounge is located in the heart of Chelsea with close access to the path train, 1 train, M and F train. Our Versatile lounge features 10 ft ceilings, and modern décor that doesn’t require additional decorations. Our lounge space features three sections for guest to mingle and watch television on our 60 inch flat screens or just sit back and enjoy the festivities of your event. Our catering kitchen and granite counter tops give our clients the option to host a conference, birthday party or even a cooking demonstration and wine tasting. Versatile lounge comes fully furnished with the option to stream music or connect your personal laptop to present your very own power point or picture collage. All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

No, I would not book again.

On the fence - Pros: The space is beautiful, spacious convenient to city folks like myself and the host is willing to work out deals. Cons - You pay a cleaning fee, but I had to clean the bathroom myself before my guests arrived. Also during the time I had the room, a resident that was able to walk in and use the restroom. As I was setting up, I asked the event host that was there, how do I raise the temperature for the A/C (It was faulty and not working properly), and how do I set up the TV's and sound system since it was off. Her response was I don't know, I've only been here a month, ask security. I work with event planners daily and someone that has knowledge of their rental space should have been present. The security guard did try to help and was very kind, however that wasn't his job and i felt bad always having to bother him. My guests ended up fixing the TV and sound system. The A/C wasn't up to par. Even before all my extra guests came in. Everyone was very hot. Not great for an August afternoon.
