PLEASE NOTE: This is a somewhat open space - while it is located at the corner of the floor, with two bottlenecks limiting access, there are no doors to close it off but we are happy to put up barriers. You will have exclusive dedicated use of the space and adjacent large kitchen. If you have questions or concerns about privacy issues, please message us. We would love to give you a tour to make sure it is the right fit. IDEAL USE: This room is ideal for events where the public would be welcome. If you have questions or concerns about privacy please message us first. Our largest event space can hold up to 120 participants. Our space is suitable for technology or business related events, such as: large meetings, training, workshops, lectures, book signing, hackathons, networking and other such business gatherings. Parties are also welcome, as long as they are not too wild. GREAT PARKING & MOVING EQUIPMENT: If your crew and guests park after 5:00 PM on Monday through Friday, we have parking vouchers for just $5.00. And on weekend, parking is just $7.00. There are hundreds of parking spaces and for all-day events; there is an early bird rate of just 19 dollars. There are lots of additional parking options within just four blocks. LOADING DOCK: There is a loading dock inside the building (and out of the rain) with direct access to the elevator direct to our floor. We have a small hand truck to help with small loads. CUSTOMERS: Fortune 500 companies as well as brand-new startups have used our spaces. Some well known examples include: SnapChat, Slalom, Nutanix, Joyent, Avalara, Northeastern University, University of Washington, City of Seattle, Moss Adams, and numerous foreign entities. INCLUDED: Use of the entire event space that accommodates up to 120 guests - theater style - 2 Rolling smart-boards, 2 rolling whiteboards, projector, screen, audio system, conference phones, refrigerator, coffee, tea and filtered water - Use of the adjacent kitchen with plenty of counter space - Two refrigerators - Small glass plates (round and square), cups, and stemware - Ice buckets for beer and sodas For large events with breakout sessions, additional conference rooms may be booked for a sub-set of your event such as private meeting rooms: https://www.peerspace.com/pages/listings/5a0a8870fbd40d45002a9194 PROMOTING YOUR EVENT: With enough advance notice, we can also help promote your event to more than 5,000 opt-in folks who are looking for interesting and educational events - especially if they are related to technology. Our building is located in the heart of Seattle. 50+ public bus routes run just a few blocks away. The space has great city views and easy access to all public transportation such as ferries, taxis, Uber, Lyft, trains and buses. We would really prefer not to write down any rules. But we need to remind everyone that you need to book all of the time including when you arrive and start to set up and until the very end when clean up has been completed. Please do your very best to reduce waste and recycle. Enjoy our space and share photos with your associates! Ideally, you leave the space nice and tidy.
This was our second time using The Surf for a meeting space. We love the proximity of the space to our office and the ease of booking. It is great that you can bring your own food in and set up the space however works for your group. We did have a little AV trouble this time, but Seaton was there to assist with our technical difficulties.
This was the best place ever to host a party. The space is versatile and can accommodate a wide range of people. It doesn't feel empty at the beginning of the party, and doesn't feel crowded with even a lot of people. It was an amazing experience and I'd definitely book again.

The space was perfect and Seaton was the most attentive accommodating host I have worked with. There was a small issue with the catering delivery one morning and the Peerspace concierge was quick to resolve the issue and compensate us for the delay. The space was perfect for our work offsite. We had 45 people during the day for a working session where we utilized tables as well as a lot of standing to do cross team work--and used the walls (brought in clings that don't harm walls) for our road map planning. we then used it for a social hour after-and the kitchen and set up are perfect for that. could not have been better! Seaton and Candace were so accommodating from the get-go, letting us walk the space a few times prior and ensuring our day went off without a hitch. they are ideal hosts! Love this location and will book again for our next offsite!
This space is AMAZING! I was looking for a place for my Portland-based company to host an event in Seattle, and this was absolutely perfect. It can be tough booking a venue long distance and sight unseen, but Seaton was fabulous in answering all of my many questions and putting my mind at ease. We held our event last night and it was flawless. This place has absolutely everything you could need, from wine glasses to fridge space to power cords to adapter dongles. Everything. There is a freight elevator right to their office which is super convenient. The space itself is super cool and modern, fantastic views, and massive kitchen and counter space that made serving food and drinks a breeze. All the AV technology is on point. And Seaton and Candace were there for us to help with any little question or issue that came up. I can see why they are such a popular venue! I will absolutely rent this space again if we come back to Seattle for more events!
An amazing venue with even more amazing hosts. Very helpful in helping us plan our event. We will most definitely will be using them again in the future and recommend everyone to check them out!!
