This is a one of a kind century old house with lush gardens and a deck overlooking Silver Lake. The views are magnificent. The living room has a twenty four foot ceiling with a twenty foot window and a baby grand piano. Hardwood floors through out. The kitchen has an old cobalt blue O'Keefe stove. There is a loft overlooking the living room and the dining room opens onto the living room as well. The house is perfect for photo shoots and movie shoots but WE DO NOT ALLOW SHOOTING AFTER 8PM . All of the back garden is available for filming. The front garden is possibly available. However, the first terrace (underneath the main deck) is egress and no shooting, storing or stoping is allowed at that level. It sounds worse than it is...but you need to know that is not film space. Lara A. booked a film shoot for 35 people
The look of the home was great for our shoot but my experience with the homeowner was not the greatest. I do recommend a thorough walkthrough with the owner in order to make sure all details are put back exactly as they were. We did not have the opportunity to walk through the home with her and did it with someone else who she sent which caused some problems once she came to see the house (even though everything was approved by the person we walked through with.) I received multiple texts from the homeowner at 10PM about how things were not in the right place but all of this should have been handled during our walkthrough if she was there.

Tessa was so wonderful and gracious, and her house is such a dream to film in. This home is gorgeous and so well maintained, it will be an amazing backdrop for your film.

Betty S. booked a photo shoot for 8 people
The place had a lot of interesting spots to take great photos. We were charged $300 for cleaning for this booking, but when our models were taking photos on different chair/couch, there were a lot of dog hair that got stuck onto our clothes that we had to try to remove from our samples. The host constantly interrupted my staff wanting them to take off their shoes so it will not bother the down stairs tenant. We need to wear shoes for our photo shoots and we were just walking..... she followed them around the property and nagging the do's and don'ts. We have used Peerspace for our shoots all the time, we have never encountered such host. Maybe she's having a really bad day. One of her other tenant also came into the house while we were shooting w/o wearing a mask... Then she insist the models wear mask at all times mask comes off only when they were not shooting, but this messes up their make up for the shoot...all of our models have been tested for covid prior to shoot. The rest of staff had their mask on at all times. All of the interruption she made during our shoot had delayed our schedule and we ended up having to pay extra for our models to shoot longer time. On top of that, she showed up again when it wasn't even end of our booking, she spoke in French to her sister that she was annoyed that we were not out of there yet not knowing my staff also speaks French....she was just not a pleasant person to work with.... even though her place was great but due to what we had to deal with, we will not book her place again. It was not worth the aggravation she caused us. If she was so unhappy of having anyone renting her place, she should just take her place off Peerspace.
Brendon S. booked an interview film shoot for 14 people
This space was amazing and film friendly. Tessa was an excellent host and very communicative. Overall, I would highly recommend this location. Some things to note: 1.) The house is perched on a hill which requires your crew to huff equipment up a few flights of stairs to get to the main house. 2.) We had roughly 15 people in the house for an interview set up and it was comfortable. I would think anything more than 20 people would become a bit cramped.
