Things started off smoothly. I had a walk through, and Carolina was nice and very accommodating. Was told everything can be moved and that she had things like tables, chairs and dishes we could use if needed (all things in her listing). As event day neared I started to inquire about moving things and was told no. Confused I sent another message to clarify referencing her own photos posted on this app and still told no but she had other tables and chairs to offer (no mention of how many). So we took time to alter our design and asked to move something else while also clarifying about the tables. She replied she didn’t have all the tables we needed (no offer of what she did have) and suggested LESS THAN A WEEK before our event that perhaps we should find another venue to accommodate! She also still didn’t want us to move anything but when reminded of her promise during walk through she eventually relented on some things but said we’d have to move them ourselves. This also confused me as other reviews said things were taken care of in advance and during the walk through she said she’d move her own personal cookware from the space into the garage. I understood we would be responsible for our own set up but with the expectation the space would be prepared for us ahead of time. Later I informed her a vendor could possibly be late picking up items and offered to pay an extra hour to stay within her policy. She tells me no she has plans immediate following our event (understandable) but instead of leaving it at that she follows up with she’s never had a client “with so many ups and downs” (not sure what that means), things are getting complicated and then THREATENED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING THE DAY BEFORE! All This eventually turned a happy process into an awful, stress filled mess that left me unable to relax during my own baby shower. So much so my family agreed to take over all future correspondence between us. The only saving Grace is she wasn’t home during the event so I only had to interact with Thomas who was general pleasant.

I had my baby shower at Carolina and Thomas' house, and had an excellent experience. The space is great, she has everything you need for a party, and on top of that both hosts are super helpful and nice. They are very responsive too, answering all my questions promptly whenever I contacted them. I would definitely book this place again.

The Johnson’s location was booked for my baby shower. I booked a month prior and Mrs. Johnson was nothing but help. Every question I had, she had VERY Good communication and every changed I needed to make at her peers pace, was already made when I arrived for my booking. I was granted access to the home which was very beneficial, and the Thompson family were so nice and helpful. I even got my food catered by her daughter’s restaurant, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY GUEST LOVED THE FOOD. Everything was well worth it. My guest were very comfortable and this space felt very home. I have no complaints.

This house was AMAZING! We had a change of plans for our baby shower due to the pandemic and everything closing and cancelled event but luckily Carolina still had her house available to us and allowed us to have a small gathering for our baby shower. You look at the pictures and it looks spacious but once you see it in person it is way more spacious. Carolina allowed us to come view the place a couple days before the event to help our event planner get a better look at everything and during the event they were both there to help us with literally everything! Everything you need...they HAVE! So good on communication and overall genuine host. I would LOVE to book with them again.
