This space is a loft-style landscape photography gallery. It features 750 square feet downstairs, and about 200 square feet upstairs in an open loft. The front features 18 feet of window light from floor to ceiling and can be accessed by the standard front door, or the optionally-available roll up window garage-style door. Originally designed as a live/work/retail flex space, it features a small complete galley kitchen, single full bathroom and an open plan loft. The downstairs is typically configured with sofa and chairs around a Herman Miller Noguchi coffee table. The gallery has fine art photography hanging on the walls and on moveable frames. The exterior of the gallery has a wide 6 foot overhang that provides shade and some shelter from light rain for events that span from inside to outside the gallery. We have folding tables and folding chairs available for your use. The downstairs can comfortably seat 30-36 people in theater style seating. Guests need to arrange for delivery of rental chairs and tables beyond what we provide.
1. Please no smoking of any kind. 2. Emeryville has a strictly enforced noise ordinance. No amplified sound past 9PM on weekdays or 10pm on weekends. Guests will be charged for any fines incurred after warnings by the Emeryville Police Department. Fines start at $500. 3. We can provide referrals to third-party event coordinators, caterers, bartenders and valet parking. Or you can bring your own. We do not provide any of those services. 4. The space is rented without the services of an attendant. If you'll generate a lot of trash as you go, please let us know so we can make sure you can get it to the trash and continue with your event. 5. Please include your expected setup and takedown time in your rental estimate. 6. Bringing one housebroken, quiet dog is just fine. 7. Please let us know your intended use and desired seating configuration. We will adjust the art frames and set up our available tables and chairs as requested. If you need seating for more than 16 people, you’ll need to rent your own additional seating and tables.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

First of all the host Diane is awesome! She was so patient and helpful. She made the place even more beautiful for the party. The place Had so many compliments. It was perfect space for 30 with plenty of space. We had perfect weather so we got to have the rolling garage door open. All my guest loved and had a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic, memorable surprise party for my husband this evening. The space is incredible and so suited for a special occasion. Parking is easy, and 29 people fit comfortably in the downstairs area. There is also an upstairs loft for relaxation and conversation. Diane coordinated with my daughter, and I sincerely cannot thank her enough for all that she did. Everyone was having such a good time that we requested an extra hour's rental, which she graciously extended. I searched for several hours on peerspace for a venue, and I could not have found a more perfect spot!

I booked the venue for a staff holiday party for 30 people, it was just the right size for my group. We had such a great time and my colleagues loved the space, the split level or loft was a nice addition because folks had the option to stay on main floor or go up to the loft and have a quiet conversation. Unfortunately, because it was rainy and windy out we were unable to use the garage door to open up the space, I would have loved to have opened it. Diane was a pleasure to work with, quick to reply to questions and provided very specific instructions for clean up at the end of the event. I would definitely book the venue again if I had a chance!

The space was perfect and Diane was even better. It was the exact size for our event in a location that was central for all attendees. Plenty of parking in a cool section of the city with many art galleries. Diane was extremely helpful starting even before we booked the site, through the planning process and on to event day. She went out of her way to ensure we had had everything we needed for a great event. Our team had a great time and we'd love to use this site again.

This was a wonderful venue perfect for our event. We hosted a graduation party for 30 people and had seating both upstairs and down stairs to accommodate our guests. The host was very gracious and promptly responded to our messages. We loved the art decorations and furniture! Plus the kitchen and restroom in the loft made everything convenient. The projector and screen were such a nice addition to the space. Would def recommend to others.
