(PART 1) In my undisclosed amount of years on this earth, I have never been so inclined to actually write a review on a rental venue, mainly due to the statistical fact (experiential) that 99.9% of the time, owners are gracious, respectful, and cordial (amongst other positive things). The following review will highlight the .01%, i.e. the owner of this specific venue. Let me set the stage. I desired to book this venue for the hours of 10pm-3am - the purpose of which being my birthday party. After inquiring about booking, I was informed that due to COVID-related changes, the capacity of the gathering would change from 90 to 40 persons. [keep in mind the NYC Phase 4 public gatherings limit is 50 persons. Which I have linked below. https://forward.ny.gov/reopening-what-you-need-know ] [j will be returning to this point soon] On top of this change, which was met with immediate acceptance via text on our end, they requested that from the hours a 12-3am, and additional $75/hr would be required. This is important for myriad reasons that will also be explored in the coming paragraphs. With my birthday rapidly approaching, I chose convenience over financial detriment and agreed to the terms and we were all set to go. Arriving the night of the party, all seems well as guests start to roll in around 10pm. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The space was spacious and people were able to enjoy their experience to the max. There was a little miscommunication towards the end of the reservation, but everyone on both sides did their part to help end the party on a good and respective note.

I have been planning events for over 25 years. However, this was my first experience booking a venue online. The manager and owner were phenomenal! I had problem with a booking for another venue. So I reached out to this venue. I was quite skeptical at first. From the moment I reached out I received prompt replies and quality customer service. I was reassured that I made the right choice when I visited the site in person. The office Manager was amazing with answering the many questions that I had prior to my walkthrough. She was very accomodating and handled my add-ons wonderfully. The owner was superb as well and made our event spectacular. I am definitely going to use the venue again!

The space turned out to be a great venue for the celebration of life of my wife who had passed last week. The owner was present and assisted in connecting to the projector and sound system which was greatly appreciated. We were told the chairs we rented would be set up but had to do it ourselves. The bathrooms were not clean and lacked adequate towels and toilet paper. Despite the required cleaning charge, we did the vast majority of the cleanup ourselves and were surprised to have the cleaning woman suggest that we tip her for her efforts.
