About the Space
Hidden in the Hollywood Hills in Laurel Canyon lies this one of a kind Moroccan-Oasis, The Hummingbird Temple. Being here is an experience of a lifetime. We had a vision 25 years ago when we bought the 4.5 acres of land. Tile by tile we created our dream. There are countless handcrafted tiles, all handmade right here, that make this house both unique and alive. You will feel the love and dedication and the special energy that permeates the space. People who visit call it a palace and are uplifted by the peaceful energy. The house measures 12.500 sq. ft. The ground floor has an open floor plan . There are 3 living room spaces, each one flowing into the next. The central living room has a traditional central circle with Moroccan rugs and pillows. Heart and center of the house features a stunning tiled atrium that is the a favorite backdrop for photoshoots. The house has two large fireplace, 3 bathrooms, a huge dining area and a separate breakfast nook. Our outdoor space offers a unique shaped pool with an island and palm trees. It has a sandy beach area with a stunning play-structure. Numerous beautiful nature spots are available throughout the property. There is plenty of private parking available on our driveway. The upstairs area features a stunning hallway plus three bedrooms which can be booked separately upon request. It's difficult to fully describe this house. There is so much love and passion radiating through the walls which you will have to experience for yourself. We host photo- and film shoots for many years. Well known brands chose the Hummingbird Temple as their location, such as InStyle, JLo, Williams Sonoma, Victoria Secret, Banana Republic and many many more. All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. We booked this space for a photoshoot and there is no shortage of beautiful scenery in this house! The place is very well kept, the owners Lena & Ahmed are super nice (as is their house manager, Juan), and the house looks exactly as appears in the advertisement. Definitely would rent again.

Lena & Ahmed were beyond amazing! This Gorgeous location was for our shoot and both our crew and featured talent were blown away. We picked a wonderful day to book, the hummingbirds were out. Lena and Ahmed are amazing hosts. They are so accommodating, responsive, kind, and just all around great. As for the space: the photos speak for themselves, but this place is truly one of a kind and out of this world. Beautiful tiles, amazing light, clean, and so unique. Worth every penny and the perfect photoshoot spot.
