Location: This amazingly spacious Studio Loft is in a prime DTLA location with exposed brick, large windows, skylights and original wood floors. The loft is at the top level (3rd floor) of the building, on the corner of Long Beach Avenue and 14th St. There is plenty of free street parking on Long Beach Ave, 14th and McGarry Streets. Conveniently located at the intersection of the Arts, Produce and Fashion District with lots of hustle and bustle during the day. The noise level is fairly substantial within "business hours," but calms as twilight falls, with a glowing DTLA skyline view from the terrace. There is a Starbucks nearby (14th St and Alameda) and a Smart & Final one block west, (14th and Compton Ave). Bus Stops and Metro line are just 3 blocks away. The Loft building is fully gated and there is a large freight elevator in the building available for production equipment and is fully wheelchair accessible. Loft Interior and Rooftop Terrace: The 12-20 foot bifold ceilings, skylights throughout and glass industrial windows provide incredible natural light. The loft windows look west through palms trees. The main space can easily accommodate 20-30 people standing or seated with tables and chairs. The main room is 2000 sq ft with wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen and bathroom accompanied by a 300 sq ft split level sleeping area, which opens out to the 1000 sq. ft private rooftop terrace. There are two maple topped five foot square rolling tables available for use and a sofa and TV in the "living room" area for talent to relax. The rooftop terrace runs the entirety of the loft roof, providing an impeccable skyline view of the downtown area through tall palm trees. The terrace has been upgraded with beautiful potted flowers, herbs, and succulents and includes strung cafe lights over the entire space. Wood flooring lines the edge of the grill area. Outdoor furniture includes a table to seat 6, a teak bench for two, Sunbrella umbrella, and a white L couch that seats 6-8. All the furniture can be moved as needed - but not the planters. The terrace, overlooking DTLA from the southeast corner of the DT area, can accommodate 25-35 people. Use: The large space is normally used as a working artist painting/photography studio with minimal furniture and the two large tables on wheels are easily movable to other parts of the loft. The space is great for lectures, workshops, photoshoots and still photography with exposed natural brick and original wood floors in the working area and white skylit walls. There is great ambient and indirect light throughout the loft in the day time along with a fantastic opportunity for beautiful sunset views from the terrace.
